Earlier today, the Tala High School community gathered for the Flag Raising Ceremony and the Ceremonial Distribution of Teachers' Lapel Microphones in compliance with Division Memorandum No. 624, s. 2026.

The program commenced with the traditional opening rites, followed by the singing of the patriotic and institutional hymns, and the reaffirmation of the Department of Education's Vision, Mission, Core Values, Quality Policy, and the SDO Caloocan Motto.

A highlight of the ceremony was the viewing of the video message from DepEd Secretary Hon. Juan Edgardo "Sonny" Angara, emphasizing the Department's commitment to empowering teachers and improving the quality of education nationwide.

The ceremonial turnover of the teachers' lapel microphones symbolized DepEd's continuing support for educators by providing instructional tools that enhance classroom communication and create more engaging learning experiences for every learner.

The activity concluded with Galaw Pilipinas, fostering wellness, camaraderie, and an active lifestyle among the teaching and non-teaching personnel.

Together, let us continue working hand in hand in delivering quality, learner-centered education and building a stronger Tala High School community.

๐Ÿ‡ต๐Ÿ‡ญ TALA HIGH SCHOOL JOINS THE SIMULTANEOUS FLAG RAISING CEREMONY ๐Ÿ‡ต๐Ÿ‡ญ

In unity with schools across the country, Tala High School proudly participated in the Simultaneous Flag Raising Ceremony in commemoration of the 10th Anniversary of the 2016 South China Sea Arbitral Award, in accordance with DepEd Caloocan Division Memorandum No. 540, s. 2026.

At exactly 8:00 A.M., our learners, teaching personnel, and non-teaching staff stood in solidarity as they solemnly sang the Philippine National Anthem, reaffirming our shared love for our country and our commitment to upholding the values of patriotism, unity, and national pride.

This meaningful observance served as a reminder of the importance of national identity, civic responsibility, and respect for the rule of law. Through activities such as this, Tala High School continues to nurture learners who are not only academically competent but also informed, responsible, and patriotic Filipino citizens.

Together, we stand as one nation, one people, and one Talanian community.

๐Ÿ“ฃ๐ŸŽฅโœจ STATE OF THE SCHOOL ADDRESS (SOSA) 2026 โœจ๐ŸŽฅ๐Ÿ“ฃ

Today, the Tala High School community gathered for the State of the School Address (SOSA) 2026, where our School Head, Dr. Luisito C. Orma, Principal IV, presented a comprehensive report on the school's journey, accomplishments, and future direction.

This year's SOSA, anchored on the theme, "Tri-Term Synergy: Synchronizing Plans, Empowering Actions, Stakeholders Collaboration, and Celebrating Outcomes for Every Learner," featured a special video presentation that tells the story of where Tala High School was, where it is today, and where it is moving forward.

The video highlights the school's remarkable progress through the years, celebrates the milestones achieved through the collective efforts of our teachers, learners, parents, alumni, partners, and stakeholders, and shares a clear vision for the future as we continue to strive for excellence in education.

The program opened with Welcome Remarks by Mrs. Merlinda DC. Sambrano, Supervising Head for Community Linkages and External Affairs, followed by the Introduction of the School Head by Mrs. Jenny T. Olchondra, Teacher III of the English Department. The highlight of the event was the delivery of the State of the School Address by Dr. Luisito C. Orma, inspiring everyone to remain united in achieving greater success for every Talanian.

๐Ÿ“ Ribbon-Cutting and Official Turnover Ceremony of the Newly Renovated English Building

Today, Tala High School proudly conducted the Ribbon-Cutting and Official Turnover Ceremony of the newly renovated English Building, marking another significant milestone in the school's commitment to providing a conducive, safe, and learner-centered educational environment.

The ceremony was led by Dr. Luisito C. Orma, Principal IV, together with the Department Heads, teachers, and staff, who witnessed the formal turnover of the renovated facility. The event symbolized not only the completion of a physical improvement project but also the school's continuing dedication to academic excellence and the holistic development of every learner.
