PLAY SAFE! CHOOSE REAL PLAY 🌟

In a world where screens often keep us apart, we at Young Generation Academy choose to stay together through real play.
Online games like Roblox may look fun and colorful, but not all of them are safe. That is why we lovingly remind everyone: "Laro lang ba ito? Mag-isip bago mag-click!"

Real Play is Healthy and Fun! As seen in our classroom, when we paint, create, laugh, and learn together, we build friendship, teamwork, and imagination. Real play keeps our body active, our mind sharp, and our heart happy.
Let us also stay alert online:

1. Stranger Danger - Be careful of chatting with strangers.
2. Scam & Overspending - Beware of fake purchases.
3. Addiction & No Sleep - Too much screen time harms our health and studies.
4. Not for Kids Content - Some games are not appropriate for children.

If you feel unsafe, please remember our three magic words: Mute, Block, Tell. Mute what makes you uncomfortable, Block the account, and Tell a trusted adult. Stay Safe, Speak Up, and Ask a Trusted Adult.

YGANS READY: Handa ang May Alam, Ligtas ang May Pakialam!

As a proud YGan of Young Generation Academy, Caloocan City, we carry not only our ID lace and uniform, but also a great responsibility — to be LIGTAS, HANDA, and ALERTO at all times.

Today, being smart inside the classroom is not enough. We must also be smart about safety. That is why our theme for 2026, "Handa ang May Alam, Ligtas ang May Pakialam — YGANS READY," reminds us of a beautiful truth: A true YGan is not only smart, cute and kind, but also alert and ready to help and protect others.
What does it really mean to be YGANS READY?
It means we know what to do. For Earthquake, we remember three life-saving words: DUCK, COVER, and HOLD. We duck low, cover ourselves under a sturdy table, and hold on tight. We stay calm, because a calm YGan is a safe YGan.

For Typhoon, we follow STAY INDOORS, SECURE, and LISTEN. We stay inside our homes and classrooms, secure our belongings, and listen to our teachers and to official announcements. True bravery means knowing how to follow and obey.
For Flood, which we often experience, we remember GO HIGH, DON'T WALK, and AVOID FLOODWATER. We move to higher ground, we do not walk through strong currents, and we avoid floodwater because we know the hidden dangers it carries.

And for Fire Safety, we keep in mind STOP, DROP, ROLL, and EXIT PLAN. We know how to act and we know where to go. Knowing our exit plan at school and at home can save lives.
The safety of every YGan is not just the duty of our teachers and our principal. It is the duty of all of us. When we have knowledge, we are prepared. When we have care for one another, we are all kept safe.

We may be young, but we are not too young to save lives. We are the Young Generation — smart, sweet, and strong.
So we, the YGans of Young Generation Academy — in our uniforms, with our bright smiles and our IDs worn with pride — stand together and say:

Ipinagdiriwang natin tuwing Agosto ang Buwan ng Wika. Ngayong 2026, kakaiba ang tema natin: Wikang Filipino at AI: Kasangkapan sa Pananaliksik at Tulay sa Yaman ng Impormasyon.

Dati, sa library tayo naghahanap ng sagot. Matagal at mahirap.
Ngayon, may AI na. Isang tanong lang, may sagot agad. Mabilis siyang katulong sa pag-research. Iyan ang kasangkapan.
Pero paano kung Ingles lang ang alam ng AI? Paano maiintindihan ng lahat ng Pilipino ang sagot niya?
Kaya kailangan ang Wikang Filipino. Ang Filipino ang tulay.
Ang AI ang nagdadala ng impormasyon, pero ang Filipino ang nagpapaliwanag nito sa paraang malinaw at malapit sa puso natin.
Kapag marunong mag-Filipino ang AI, mas maraming Pilipino ang matututo. Kahit nasaan man sila.
Kaya huwag natin kalimutan ang sariling wika. Gamitin natin ang AI para mas mahalin at mas palaganapin pa ang Wikang Filipino.
