𝗖𝗘𝗡𝗧𝗥𝗔𝗟 𝗔𝗗𝗩𝗜𝗦𝗢𝗥𝗬 | Gate Pass Stickers Now Available

500 parking stickers are now available on a first come, first served basis. Application forms may be obtained at the Security Office from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday to Friday. Please be advised that the UE Gate Pass Sticker is valid until the end of AY 2026–2027 with a fee of ₱1,000.00 for all vehicle types. A strict “No Gate Pass Sticker, No Entry” policy will be implemented starting August 1, 2026.

Application Requirements & Procedure:

1. Secure and accomplish the application form from the Security Office.
2. Submit the form with photocopies of the OR/CR, driver’s license, and student registration form.
3. If the vehicle is not registered under the applicant, submit an authorization from the registered owner.
4. Upon approval, pay at the Cashier: ₱1,000.00 (all vehicles). The gate pass is valid for one (1) academic year only.
5. Present the official receipt at the Security Office for sticker issuance.

Under the restored schedule, regular offices now operate from Monday to Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., with a 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m. lunch break.

Meanwhile, the Admissions Offices on both campuses will remain open on Saturdays to accommodate students during the ongoing enrollment period.

To recall, UE previously adopted a compressed four-day schedule last May 5 in response to national energy conservation efforts.

Today, we proudly celebrate the 𝟭𝟲𝟱𝘁𝗵 𝗕𝗶𝗿𝘁𝗵 𝗔𝗻𝗻𝗶𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗮𝗿𝘆 𝗼𝗳 𝗗𝗿. 𝗝𝗼𝘀𝗲 𝗥𝗶𝘇𝗮𝗹, our national hero whose life, works, and enduring legacy continue to inspire generations. ✨

Born 𝗝𝗼𝘀é 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝘁𝗮𝘀𝗶𝗼 𝗥𝗶𝘇𝗮𝗹 𝗠𝗲𝗿𝗰𝗮𝗱𝗼 𝘆 𝗔𝗹𝗼𝗻𝘀𝗼 𝗥𝗲𝗮𝗹𝗼𝗻𝗱𝗮 𝗼𝗻 𝗝𝘂𝗻𝗲 𝟭𝟵, 𝟭𝟴𝟲𝟭, his early brilliance allowed him to simultaneously excel abroad in both medicine and literature.

Rizal channeled his multifaceted intellect to expose the oppressive social conditions under Spanish colonial rule through his novels, 𝗡𝗼𝗹𝗶 𝗠𝗲 𝗧á𝗻𝗴𝗲𝗿𝗲 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗘𝗹 𝗙𝗶𝗹𝗶𝗯𝘂𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗶𝘀𝗺𝗼, effectively igniting the spirit of Philippine resistance. While he advocated for peaceful reform rather than violent upheaval, his ex*****on in 1896 ultimately transformed him into a martyr—fueling the flame of the Philippine Revolution and cementing his legacy as our ultimate national hero.

Today, 𝗥𝗶𝘇𝗮𝗹 𝗿𝗲𝗺𝗮𝗶𝗻𝘀 𝗱𝗲𝗲𝗽𝗹𝘆 𝗲𝗺𝗯𝗲𝗱𝗱𝗲𝗱 𝗶𝗻 𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗱𝗮𝗶𝗹𝘆 𝗹𝗶𝘃𝗲𝘀. His presence physically manifests on the one-peso coin, serving as a constant, democratic reminder of the freedom, intellect, and patriotism he died for—literally kept alive in the hands of every Filipino.

Ngayong ika-12 ng Hunyo, ginugunita natin ang Araw ng Kalayaan at ang paglaya ng Pilipinas mula sa kolonyal na paghahari ng Espanya. Ngunit higit isang siglo matapos ideklara ang ating kalayaan, mahalagang itanong: tunay na ba nating nakamit ang kalayaang ipinaglaban ng ating mga ninuno?

Mahigit tatlong daan at tatlumpung taon tayong sinakop ng Espanya, sinundan ng Estados Unidos at Hapon. Bagama't kinilala ang pormal na kalayaan ng Pilipinas noong 1946, nananatiling buhay ang mga anyo ng dayuhang kontrol sa ating ekonomiya, pulitika, militar, at kultura. Hanggang sa kasalukuyan, hindi pa rin ganap na nakatatayo ang bansa bilang isang tunay na nagsasarili at malayang bayan.

Patunay rito ang patuloy na pagpapalawak ng presensyang militar ng Estados Unidos sa bansa sa pamamagitan ng mga kasunduang militar at mga ehersisyong gaya ng Balikatan. Sa halip na paunlarin ang pambansang industriya at kabuhayan ng mamamayan, mas lalong inilulubog ang Pilipinas sa mga interes at tunggalian ng mga dayuhang kapangyarihan.

Sa kamakailang pagsali ng Pilipinas sa Pax Silica, mas lumalalim ang pagkakasangkot ng bansa sa mga pandaigdigang supply chain na sumusuporta sa mga interes ng Estados Unidos at mga kaalyado nito. Sa gitna ng nagpapatuloy na genocide laban sa mamamayang Palestino, hindi dapat maging kasangkapan ang Pilipinas sa pagpapalakas ng mga industriyang militar na nagluluwal ng digmaan, okupasyon, at paglabag sa karapatang pantao.

Hindi tunay na kalayaan ang pagkakaroon lamang ng watawat at pambansang awit habang nananatiling nakatali ang ating ekonomiya, pulitika, at seguridad sa dikta ng mga dayuhang kapangyarihan. Hindi tunay na kalayaan ang patuloy na pag-asa sa mga banyagang interes habang naghihirap ang sambayanang Pilipino.

Ang Araw ng Kalayaan ay hindi lamang paggunita sa nakaraan. Ito ay panawagan upang ipagpatuloy ang laban para sa pambansang soberanya, sariling pagpapasya, at isang lipunang tunay na malaya mula sa imperyalismo, panghihimasok, at pagsasamantala.

Sapagkat hindi tayo tunay na malaya kung mahaba lamang ang tanikala.
