Launching March with Women Power and Purpose!🚺💜

Today, March 4, 2025, the Gender and Development Club officially commenced the month-long celebration of National Women's Month. The event began with the Philippine National Anthem, "Lupang Hinirang," performed by Filipina women, followed by the official kick-off announcement and a preview of the month's activities.

In further support of the Kick-Off Activity, the GAD Club unveiled the official National Women's Month Celebration (NWMC) streamer, tarpaulin, and poster templates, marking the official start of the celebration.

Purple is giving... empowerment!!! 💜✨

Make this your Wednesday habit this month of March! Makiisa sa Purple Wednesdays bilang pagsuporta sa karapatan ng lahat ng kababaihan at pagkakapantay-pantay ng kasarian. Simply wear anything purple every Wednesdays of March. Maaari ring magsuot ng purple sa pagdiriwang ng International Women’s Day sa March 8.

Fostering Awareness, Inspiring Change: A collaborative effort by the Gender and Development (GAD) team and the Supreme Student Government (SSLG)

LOOK ! Held last December 11, 2024, became a significant milestone in the collective fight against violence and inequality.

Esteemed guest speakers—Mr. Joseph Mikael Pablo, Ms. Jennifer Mae I. Milan, and Ms. Marjurie R. Banisil—along with SSLG President and "Para Sa Bata" representative Mr. Jan Ember S. Bato-on, shared their expertise and experiences, shedding light on the harsh realities faced by women and children while emphasizing the importance of rights, protection, and empowerment.

The event sparked meaningful conversations, encouraged active participation from the audience, and reinforced the community's commitment to creating a safer, more equitable society for all. Together, we continue to stand united against violence and advocate for a brighter future.
