K-10 | JHS STUDENTS COMPETE IN BROADCASTING COMPETITION
Junior High School students showcased their talent for communication skills and on-air news presentation during the Radio Broadcasting Competition as part of the Basic Education Department's National Reading Month activities, held at the ICC Annex Library, on November 27, 2025.
The competition was organized by Ma’am Jessa Elarmo and Ma’am Patricia Mae Nicdao, that started at 1:30 PM, beginning with an opening prayer, followed by the introduction of judges, Mr. Nellier Armatan, Ma'am Mary Suzette Acosta, and Ma'am Gema Nadunza–Quillopo. Furthermore, seven teams participated with the hopes of winning the competition.
The Reading Month celebration provided the students an opportunity to showcase their skills and to use their voices to inspire others.
After finalizing the results, the winners were officially announced. The declared champion of the Radio Broadcasting competition was the Grade 10 team. Placing 1st place was Grade 8 Roxas, while Grade 8 Osmeña finished in 2nd place.
