The Manuel Luis Quezon High School community proudly marked the beginning of another year of values-driven leadership through the Campaign for Character Education Tenacity (CaChET) Kick-Off and Oath-Taking Ceremony for School Year 2025–2026.

In a program filled with purpose and inspiration, newly elected student leaders and members formally pledged their commitment to uphold the principles of excellence, integrity, discipline, and service. This solemn oath signifies their dedication to becoming role models within the school and the wider community, fostering a culture of respect, responsibility, and character.

As the new academic year unfolds, MLQHS looks forward to the active participation of CaChET officers and members in championing positive change, promoting school pride, and cultivating an environment where every learner can thrive.

The Campaign for Character Education Tenacity (CACHET) gathered education leaders, parents, and teachers in a powerful colloquium at the University of Asia and the Pacific. Together, we explored the vital roles each one plays in shaping students with resilience, integrity, and a love for learning.💡🇵🇭✨

A shared mission. A united community. A future built on character. 💙

Family games and sports play a vital role in fostering unity and camaraderie among family members. These activities create opportunities for bonding, teamwork, and shared experiences that bring loved ones closer together. It also teach important values such as patience, discipline, and respect. Winning and losing become learning experiences, encouraging sportsmanship and emotional resilience. These values help family members develop a positive attitude toward challenges and improve their problem-solving skills.

Narito ang repleksyon ng ilan sa mga CaChET officers and members. :)

Ang dalawang poster na ito tungkol na kaugnay ang Makabansang tema ay sumasalamin sa mahahalagang pagpapahalaga ng isang mabuting mamamayan—paggalang, pagkakaisa, at bayanihan na siyang pundasyon ng isang maunlad at maayos na lipunan.

Mula sa simpleng pagmamano bilang tanda ng respeto sa mga nakatatanda, hanggang sa pagsasagawa ng bayahihan upang tumulong sa kapwa, ipinapakita nito na ang maliit na kilos ng kabutihan ay may malaking epekto sa ating komunidad. Ang pagiging mabuting Pilipino ay hindi lamang nasusukat sa mga salitang ating sinasambit kundi sa mga gawaing nagpapakita ng malasakit at integridad katulad ng pagsunod sa batas, pagiging disiplinado, at pagtulong nang walang hinihintay na kapalit.

Ang lahat ng ito ay nagtutulak sa atin tungo sa isang makabansang kinabukasan, kung saan ang bawat isa ay may ginagampanang papel sa pagpapabuti ng ating bayan.

That's what happened last Saturday, December 14 2024! The CACHET officers together with their teacher coaches, focal person had an oath taking where they promised to be true with their responsibilities and work. In this solemn moment, they also sought God’s guidance, asking Him to lead them throughout their journey in their respective positions. It is a pledge that must be upheld, as their duty began even before taking the oath.

Remember the Quiz Bee and Art Summit where selected students participated to represent our school? The awarding of certificates and medals to those who joined the contests, especially to the winners, also took place. And once again, a warm 'round of applause for Geshalaine Valiente for ranking 2nd in the Descriptive Essay Writing Contest. What an honorable accomplishment and a proud moment for every Quezonian to witness!

May the universe guide all of us to take the path we're being led on as we officially step into our purpose. To the officers, we hope that you all use your power rightfully and also hold the driving force of your words that you have bestow honor on. To the teacher coaches and to our focal person, may you continue on leading us to our paths, shaping us into who we are meant to become. And finally, to the people we serve, we wish that we can fulfill your expectations towards our duties as we really are committed with our positions!

Be CaChEt~Think CaChET~Do ChaChET~Love CaChET~

When knowledge is combined with the power of faith in Him, everything becomes powerful and unstoppable, and this sums up the Quiz Bee and Art Summit 2024 and the events that unfolded throughout the month.

This month has been a beautiful journey of learning, creativity, and growth at Manuel Luis Quezon High School. Moving beyond the challenging questions of the Quiz Bee, there were talents made known through several special activities. They brought news to life through News Dramatization, heartfelt thoughts in Essay Writing, and a celebration of tradition through creative Video Presentations. The Oral Narrative Story added depth to the celebration as participants rivaled each other in showing off their prowess in storytelling, including catching emotions and imagery. The Song Rendition contest breathed a melodic beauty into the month as students put soul behind their performances-both in talent and passion.

This month was more about being outstanding in academics but on the whole talent, creativity, and dedication of the students. From the written word to the power of voice and visuals, each activity became a testament to how knowledge combined with faith and hard work can bring forth all sorts of wonders.

It was a testament to how faith, knowledge, and creativity, combined with each other, can move mountains and make dreams come alive. Really, what a month this has been—a fine reminder of what we can achieve together.
