RECOGNIZING HAZARDOUS CHEMICALS THROUGH SYMBOLS
Most chemical products carry hazard symbols telling you wether a substance is harmful and in what way. You might see one or more symbols on a single product. Here are nine chemical product symbol:

15. Use common sense. Safety is in your hands. Take responsibility for your actions, work safely, and protect yourself along with those around you. Hazards of improper use or exposure to hazardous chemicals can cause trauma (as in explosion), burns, illness, and even death.

14. Label all chemicals and store them properly as directed on their labels. Flammable chemicals should be stored in a cool, dry place away from heat and sunlight. Some chemicals like acids must be stored separately from each other.
