OLLCS Alumni are Called for a Mission
The OLLCS Alumni Association had the first of the recollection series for its alumni. The theme centers on "OLLCS Alumni: Called for a Mission" with Ma’am Meddy L. Sanchez, former principal and considered as one of the pillars of OLLCS. It happened last November 20, 2021 at 6:30PM via Zoom.
OLLCS Recollections are regular activities in Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic School for Lourdesians. They are part of the character and spiritual formation of the whole community, even to its Alumni. This activity aims to bring about a spiritual experience which can be understood in the hope that such an experience will encourage positive values and behavior.
The event was hosted by two of the endeared alumni of Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic School, Mr. Vinz Michael M. Frias and Miss Lois Ann L. Perdigon. The event began with an opening prayer led by Ms. Kristine Robee Ann Ursua, OLLCS Alumnus followed by the Opening Remarks given by our very own School Team Leader, Mr. Herbert Sadicon, and an ice breaker game facilitated by the hosts.
Ma’am Meddy Sanchez gave the main talk about “How to know if God is calling you to a mission”. She emphasized that goodness is in our hearts, and everyone is called for a mission.
The said recollection is indeed meaningful to all OLLCS Alumni as they share their learnings and experiences and appreciate the effort of their dearest facilitator, Ma’am Meddy L. Sanchez.
At the end of Ma’am Meddy’s talk, she invited everyone to celebrate the learnings from the recollection through a prayer.
