We extend our deepest gratitude to our College Dean, Dr. Janet I. Adalem, Department Head, Dr. Adrian Angelo Roque, Program Coordinator, Dr. Rose Lita Montarde, Mrs. Teresita Solidum, and all faculty members for your steadfast guidance, encouragement, and support throughout this journey.

EDUCATION DEPARTMENT LAKBAY ARAL 2026
Theme: “Empowering Future Educators: Building Safe Spaces on Campus and Preventing Cybercrime in the Digital Age”
Last April 29, 2026
The Education Department successfully conducted its Lakbay Aral 2026 under the leadership of Department Head Dr. Adrian Angelo M. Roque, in coordination with Education Coordinator Dr. Rose Lita Montarde. The activity brought together future educators in a meaningful and enriching experience.
As part of the program, EDUC students attended insightful seminars titled “Digital Discipline: Promoting Responsible Media Use, Preventing Cybercrime, and Combating Online Bullying in Education” and “Safe Spaces, Strong Minds: The Teacher’s Role in Fostering Inclusive Classrooms, Supporting Students’ Mental Health, and Preventing Bullying.” These sessions equipped students with essential knowledge and skills in promoting digital responsibility, ensuring safe learning environments, and addressing current challenges in education.
The event culminated in a series of engaging and dynamic activities, including a singing contest, quiz bee, poster-making competition, team-building exercises, and exciting outdoor activities. These activities highlighted the talents, creativity, and teamwork of our students while fostering camaraderie and school spirit among future educators.

A DAY WITH THE PRESIDENT
St. Clare College President Dr. Clarita G. Adalem met with the fourth-year Education interns as part of regular meetings focused on their academic and professional readiness. During the session, Dr. Adalem outlined the requirements for graduation and strongly encouraged the interns to participate in the Free Board Exam Review for Teachers—an initiative of St. Clare College designed to support and strengthen their preparation for the licensure examination. Key graduation requirements, along with other pertinent academic matters, were also thoroughly discussed to ensure that students are well-guided as they approach the completion of their program.

CHED ALLOWS 100% ONLINE CLASSES FOR COLLEGES AND UNIVERSITIES
READ: In an advisory issued by the Commission on Higher Education (CHED), the full or 100% implementation of online classes is now permitted for Higher Education Institutions (HEIs) nationwide. This is in line with the ongoing state of national emergency due to the continuing tensions in the Middle East.
According to CHED, the advisory will remain in effect until the end of Academic Year 2025–2026, including summer classes.
