🇵🇭 𝗣𝗔𝗥𝗔 𝗦𝗔 𝗕𝗔𝗬𝗔𝗡.

Sa bawat kalayaang tinatamasa natin ngayon, may mga taong nangahas mangarap ng isang malayang bayan. May mga tinig na nagsalita kahit may panganib, mga kamay na kumilos kahit may takot, at mga buhay na inialay para sa kapakanan ng nakararami.

Ngayong 𝗡𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗛𝗲𝗿𝗼𝗲𝘀 𝗗𝗮𝘆, hindi lamang natin binibigyang-pugay ang mga bayani ng nakaraan—pinapaalala rin natin sa ating sarili ang responsibilidad na pangalagaan ang bayang kanilang ipinaglaban.

Kaya panawagan sa karamihan, may pagkakataon tayong hubugin ang kinabukasang nais nating maranasan. Piliin natin ang mga taong may integridad, kakayahan, at tunay na malasakit sa bayan—mga pinunong handang maglingkod, hindi lamang mamuno para sa kapangyarihan.

Dahil ang bayani ng hinaharap ay maaaring magsimula sa isang lider na pinili ng sambayanang marunong pumili.

Eunoia (pronounced yoo-NOY-ah) comes from a Greek word that means “well-mindedness” and “beautiful thinking.” It reflects goodwill, kindness, and a positive way of understanding others. 👥

As communication students, this value lies at the heart of what we do and who we are, because communication is not just about sharing information; it’s about listening, understanding different perspectives, and bringing people together! 💐🫂

And speaking of bringing together, 𝘌𝘶𝘯𝘰𝘪𝘢 is famously known as the shortest English word containing all five main vowels (A, E, I, O, U).💡

‎Filipinos are often praised for our ability to rise after every storm. Pero hindi medalya ang resiliency. Hindi dapat gawing normal ang pagdurusa. At lalong hindi dapat gawing dahilan ang bagyo upang pagtakpan ang kapabayaan.

‎Behind every flood and every storm are people who are simply trying to get home safely, protect their families, and rebuild what they lost.

Ang tagumpay ay nagsisimula sa isang salitang patuloy na isinasabuhay—𝓟𝓪𝓰𝓹𝓾𝓹𝓾𝓷𝔂𝓪𝓰𝓲.

Ito ay ang patuloy na pagsisikap, ang muling pagsubok kahit ilang beses nang nabigo, at ang walang-maliw na paghakbang upang makamit ang ating mga mithiin, gaano man kabigat ang hirap at hadlang.

Bilang mag-aaral, manlilikha sa komunikasyon, at mamamayang gumagamit ng wikang Pilipino, ang diwa ng pagpupunyagi ay buhay sa ating mga tinig na patuloy na nagsasalita, nagsusulat, at nagsasalaysay, kahit na minsan ay hindi agad naririnig. Isang paalala na ang bawat kuwentong ipinaglalaban nating marinig at bawat tinig na tumatangging sumuko ay ang pundasyon sa pagbabagong nais nating makita sa ating lipunan.

Kaya saanman tayo dalhin ng ating mga lakbayin, patuloy tayong magpunyagi para sa ating mga pangarap, sa ating kapwa, at sa ating bayan.

𝗣𝗔𝗚-𝗨𝗡𝗟𝗔𝗗 𝗣𝗔𝗥𝗔 𝗦𝗔 𝗠𝗔𝗠𝗔𝗠𝗔𝗬𝗔𝗡 𝗢 𝗣𝗔𝗚-𝗨𝗡𝗟𝗔𝗗 𝗣𝗔𝗥𝗔 𝗦𝗔 𝗠𝗚𝗔 𝗗𝗔𝗬𝗨𝗛𝗔𝗡?

Ang pagbuo ng artificial intelligence infrastructure (AI) at pagmimina ay mas nagbibigay hirap sa ating ancestral lands kung saan madalas makikita ang yaman ng Pilipinas. Kapag nasira ito, kasabay ang pagkasira ng kultura, kabuhayan, at indigenous communities. Sa patuloy na pag-unlad ng AI ay maraming mga trabahong maaaring mawala. Tulad na lamang ng pag-usbong ng data labeling at content moderation na magreresulta sa lower wages, heavier workloads, at limitasyon sa worker protection.

Pagsubok din dito ang dependency sa mga foreign technology providers kung saan maaaring mahirapan ang isang bansa na gumawa ng sariling polisiya. Nang dahil sa technological competition, maaari rin lumala ang geopolitical rivalry sa Pilipinas dahil ito ay magiging sentro ng economic competition at pag-secure sa mga may kapangyarihan. Hindi tiyak na protektado ang ating mga ancestral lands, manggagawa, at mamamayan sa pag-unlad na pakay ng Pax Silica.

Kaya naman bilang estuyante at mag-aaral ng sining ng komunikasyon, pagtibayin natin ang ating mga salita at boses upang tutulan ang pagbuo ng Pax Silica. Hindi natin dapat hayaan na angkinin ng mga dayuhan ang ating sariling yaman at unahin natin protektahan ang kapakanan ng ating mamamayan. Manatili tayong may alam at suriin ang bawat impormasyon na pumapalibot sa Pax Silica upang patuloy na magserbisyo para sa mga Pilipino.

Patuloy tayong makinig, maglahad, at lumaban.
