Tala Elementary School successfully conducted its School Learning Action Cell (SLAC) on August 14, 2026, at the School Conference Room, bringing together teachers from both the AM and PM sessions for a meaningful day of professional learning, collaboration, and reflection.

The activity was led by our dedicated school leaders, Ma’am Remedios B. Licong, Principal III, and Dr. Mary Ann Margaret L. Morden, Public Schools District Supervisor, whose leadership and guidance continue to inspire the teachers of Tala Elementary School.

The session highlighted the importance of strengthening teachers’ knowledge and skills in reading assessment, learner assessment and reporting, and inclusive communication—all geared toward improving teaching practices and providing better learning experiences for our pupils.

Through the SLAC, our teachers continue to COLLABORATE, REFLECT, PLAN, and IMPROVE—because TOGETHER, WE LEARN; TOGETHER, WE GROW.

Indeed, professional development becomes more meaningful when educators learn and grow together.

Today, Tala Elementary School community proudly gathered for the Monday Flag Raising Ceremony, reaffirming our love for our country and our commitment to the values of patriotism, unity, and responsible citizenship.

In line with the observance of ASEAN Month, we also celebrated the spirit of friendship, cooperation, and solidarity among the member nations of the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN). This celebration reminds us of the importance of embracing our rich cultural diversity while working together toward a peaceful, progressive, and sustainable region.

2026 NUTRITION MONTH CELEBRATION | Tala Elementary School

Bilang pakikiisa sa pagdiriwang ng 2026 Nutrition Month, matagumpay na isinagawa ng Tala Elementary School ang iba't ibang gawaing pangkalusugan na nakasentro sa pambansang temang "Sama-sama sa Nutrisyong Sapat Para sa Lahat" at sa subtema ng paaralan na "Nutrisyon at Kalikasan, Ating Pangalagaan."
Sa layuning mapalawak ang kaalaman at kamalayan ng mga mag-aaral tungkol sa wastong nutrisyon at pangangalaga sa kalikasan, nagsagawa ang paaralan ng mga makabuluhang aktibidad na isinagawa sa loob ng kani-kanilang mga silid-aralan upang matiyak na hindi naaantala ang regular na klase.

Sa pamumuno ng ating masigasig at mapaglingkod na Punongg**o, Mrs. Remedios B. Licong, at sa tulong ng mga dedikadong g**o, naging matagumpay ang pagdiriwang sa pamamagitan ng mga gawaing humikayat sa mga mag-aaral na isabuhay ang wastong pagkain, malusog na pamumuhay, at pangangalaga sa ating kapaligiran.
Lubos ang aming pasasalamat sa lahat ng g**o, mag-aaral, at mga katuwang na naging bahagi ng matagumpay na selebrasyong ito. Nawa'y magsilbi itong paalala na ang mabuting nutrisyon at pagmamalasakit sa kalikasan ay mahalagang pundasyon ng isang malusog at responsableng pamayanan.
Sama-sama nating isulong ang wastong nutrisyon at pangalagaan ang ating kalikasan!
