TEACHERS' DAY TREAT FOR SRMS TEACHERS
Giving them the opportunity to relax and unwind from the many hassles of their teaching mission, the SRMS teachers paused for a while and had a night out filled with Asian food and got excited about bowling on October 5.
School Principal, Mr. Julius I. Idello in his statement said, "Our teachers have worked so hard for the past weeks since we started our school year and it's quite difficult because of our transition from online to face-to-face, plus, with the new set-up, which is blended, this school year is not just an adjustment for our learners but also for our teachers as well."
"That is why, as administrators, we are giving them this time on Teachers' Day to show our appreciation for their dedication and passion for their teaching mission and for our bonding time as well," he added.
Vice Principal, Mr. Ronan T. Paguntalan also commented, "We want our teachers to feel that here in SRMS they are valued and important, and we want them to be happy in our community. Happy teachers will mean happy learners and, of course, a happy community. "
The said night out is just a part of the grand celebration of SRMS for Teachers' Day. Little did they know, the Raphaelians were up to something to make their day more special. On October 7, the entire community will have a meaningful program for them.

Mental Faith: No Pain, No Gain!
Today, we reflect on the Sorrowful Mysteries!
The Sorrowful Mysteries are a prayer to remind us that Jesus loved us so much that He died on the cross for us. In praying the sorrowful mysteries, we can appreciate the mystery of Christ’s passion and death and how it applies to our own lives.
The Sorrowful Mysteries show us how our Lord Jesus takes the suffering so that we can have eternal life. It is in His pain that He proves his unconditional love and wins our hearts.
The Sorrowful Mysteries are but a reflection of life's wanting to gain the future.
Challenges are on their way to test our limits. Difficult situations give us pain and make us suffer. But if we push harder, armed with faith in our hearts, these challenges will give us strength towards our goals in life. Like our Lord Jesus, who suffered so that we might live, our sufferings too have a purpose so that we could have a good future..
Just believe and have faith.

Mental Faith: BE GOOD. BE AN ANGEL TODAY
Today is the feast of St. Michael, St. Gabriel, St. Raphael, and all the archangels in heaven. Angels are servants of the Lord and messengers of good news. They are heavenly beings who guide us toward the path of goodness and holiness so that our faith may be deepened.
Our good deeds will make us Angels in the eyes of the people. Be Good. Be an Angel today.
Mental Faith: WITH FAITH, WE CAN SEE GOD
The Gospel today speaks of our Lord Jesus Christ, telling us that faith in Him leads to knowing that He is our Lord and Savior.
Today is the feast of St. Michael, St. Gabriel, St. Raphael, and all the archangels in heaven. Angels are servants of the Lord and messengers of good news. They are heavenly beings who guide us toward the path of goodness and holiness so that our faith may be deepened.
It is also a reminder for us to imitate them by willingly submitting ourselves to serving God and sharing the Good News. Remembering them on their feast today makes us realize how faith works in giving us the opportunity to deepen our faith in Jesus, which opens us to seeing God in our lives just like them, who, because of their faith and love for God, continue to remain with Him and follow Him at His disposal.
Finally, the feast makes us realize that we have angels in our lives, sent by God to help us do good. They are our friends, family, teachers, and all those who guide us in realizing God's plan.
Be an angel today!
Happy feast day.
