Today, we are going to talk about endagered species. Animals included in this may likely to be extinct in time. Therefore, they need utmost protection and care.

The Philippines was recognized by the nonprofit environmentalist group Conservation International as one of only 17 mega-diversed countries in the world. This means that the Pearl of the Orient Seas is a home to many species and plants sheltering in our land.

International Union for the Conservation of Nature and Natural Resources (IUCN) stated that 418 animal species in our country were threatened, which means that they are vulnerable, endangered, or critically endangered.
