🌿 Session 1 — Dec. 9, 6PM
Artwork: Winter Berries Scene (“Peace”)

Learning Goals:
-Introduction to watercolor basics
-Wet-on-wet background washes
-Creating snow effects using lifting and negative painting
-Painting simple branches and berries
-Adding lettering to a finished artwork

Outcome:
A snowy winter landscape with red berries and the word “peace.”

Theme: “Faith Can Move Mountains” (Matthew 17:20)

Focus:

Basics of acrylic/poster paint blending for sunsets

Creating depth using layered mountains

Introduction to simple brush lettering

Adding a Bible verse using calligraphy or marker

Skills Learned: Color gradients, silhouette painting, basic lettering

Theme: “He Counts the Stars and Calls Them by Name” (Psalm 147:4)

Focus:

How to paint a galaxy background

Techniques for stars, splattering, and soft transitions

Introduction to cursive script calligraphy

Positioning text within artwork

Skills Learned: Galaxy painting, star effects, script calligraphy

Theme: “When I Look Into the Heavens, I See the Work of Your Hands”

Focus:

Multi-color galaxy and nebula painting

Creating contrast for text visibility

Decorative calligraphy (arrows, banners, layout)

Combining typography with a detailed background

Skills Learned: Advanced blending, layouting, decorative lettering

Theme: “Be the Light” (Nativity Theme)

Focus:

Painting glowing light effects

Basic figure silhouettes

Integrating calligraphy with a symbolic artwork

Final touches and finishing techniques (varnish look, highlights)

Skills Learned: Light/glow techniques, storytelling through art, clean lettering

This 4-session watercolor course guides beginners and hobbyists through festive, Christmas-themed watercolor artworks. Each session focuses on a specific technique—such as wet-on-wet, layering, gradients, and detail work—while completing a full painting during class.

Artwork: Christmas Ornaments & Stars

Learning Goals:

Painting smooth circular shapes

Creating gradient washes in spheres

Adding metallic/gold effects (optional)

Splattering techniques for magical starry textures

Composition balancing with multiple ornaments

Outcome:
A dreamy ornament-themed painting with stars and glowing accents.

Artwork: Nativity Silhouette

Learning Goals:

Blending a nighttime sky using gradient techniques

Painting silhouettes (stable, figures, ground)

Using contrast effectively

Creating the star of Bethlehem with clean edges

Outcome:
A serene nativity scene on a blue night sky.

🎄 Christmas Card Craft – Course Outline

Schedule: Mondays, 7 PM
Duration: 4 Sessions
Fee: ₱300 for full course / ₱100 per session
Materials Needed Each Week: colored papers, cotton, glue, scissors (plus small optional embellishments)

📘 Course Goals

By the end of the 4-week program, learners will:

-Develop creativity and fine motor skills

-Create four unique, hand-crafted Christmas cards

-Learn folding, layering, and simple 3D card-making techniques

-Gain confidence in personalizing designs for gifting

Card Theme: 3D Christmas Ornaments Card
Objectives:

*Learn how to cut and assemble layered circle ornaments

*Practice basic 3D pop-up folding

*Understand color matching for holiday themes

Activities:

*Step-by-step ornament folding & layering

*Add holly leaves, twine bows, and background textures

*Write a simple holiday greeting

Card Theme: Fluffy Snowman Cotton Card
Objectives:

*Explore texture crafting using cotton

*Improve shape placement for snowman features

*Create a winter scene background using paper & simple drawing

Activities:

*Build the snowman with cotton layers

*Add facial features and stick arms

*Add “snowflakes” with dots or cutouts

🎁 Session 3 — December 15, 7 PM
Card Theme: Fold-Out Santa & Christmas Tree Surprise Card
Objectives:

*Learn a simple fold-out card mechanism

*Create layered Christmas trees (paper strips method)

*Practice symmetry and clean cutting

Activities:

*Fold the base card and attach the side flaps

*Build the Santa and tree images

*Add snow dots, patterns, and personalized messages

🎀 Session 4 — December 22, 7 PM
Card Theme: Christmas Wreath Card
Objectives:

*Learn star and leaf cutting methods

*Create a 3D wreath using layered shapes

*Add decorative accents like glitter or bows

Activities:

*Assemble star & leaf pieces into a wreath

*Add a twine bow

*Final greeting and finishing touches
