ANNOUNCEMENT
From the Office of the NSTP Director

To: All NSTP Students

Subject: Collection of Old Certificates of Registration (COR)

This is to inform all NSTP students who have transferred to other sections that the collection of old Certificates of Registration (COR) will be conducted.

After the old CORs are returned, they will be submitted to the Registrar’s Office for replacement with the new CORs, which will properly reflect the updated student sections.

For new entrance students, you are advised to photocopy your COR for submission at the NWSSU entrance before handing the original copy to your respective instructor.

This process is being implemented to ensure proper documentation and accurate student records.

Please be informed that our orientation this coming Saturday, August 22, 2026, will be conducted strictly ONLINE. You do not need to report in person to the NwSSU campus for this activity.

• Attendance: Your attendance is required and will be recorded via a Google Form, which will be shared during the online session.

The Northwest Samar State University (NWSSU) National Service Training Program (NSTP) proudly celebrated the graduation of the Bidlisiw Batch, Class of 2026 on May 31, 2026 at the NWSSU Oval Grounds.

The graduation ceremony recognized students who successfully completed the Civic Welfare Training Service (CWTS) and Literacy Training Service (LTS) programs, marking the culmination of their journey in community service, leadership development, and civic engagement.

The event featured the distribution of certificates, recognition of outstanding student achievements, special awards, and inspirational messages from university officials and guest speakers. Through their participation in various community-based activities and projects, the graduates demonstrated their commitment to service, volunteerism, and social responsibility.

As they embark on new endeavors, the members of the Bidlisiw Batch carry with them the values and experiences gained through NSTP, preparing them to become active contributors to their communities and the nation.

This is to prioritize safety, support recovery efforts, and address accessibility concerns. Updates will be posted here and in official channels.

NSTP classes will resume next week once conditions have normalized.

ADVISORY | There will be NO NSTP CLASSES on September 6, 2025 (Saturday) as per the Office of the University President.

𝗔𝗗𝗩𝗜𝗦𝗢𝗥𝗬 | By virtue of Proclamation No. 1007, September 8, 2025 is declared a SPECIAL NON-WORKING DAY in the City of Calbayog in celebration of the Hadang Festival.

The Office of the University President also declared that there will be no classes and office transactions in the Main Campus on September 6-7, 2025 to give way to our city’s activities and festivities.

Work and classes will resume on September 9, 2025.
