Sa scouting, natutunan natin ang disiplina, pananagutan, at tunay na diwa ng paglilingkod—mga aral na hindi lang mananatili sa paaralan, kundi dadalhin natin habang-buhay.

Nawa’y patuloy ninyong dalhin ang mga ito sa susunod ninyong tatahakin, at harapin ang bawat hamon nang may tapang at determinasyon 💚

LOOK | Hibatang Alab-likha Scouts on duty!

The Boy Scouts of Oquendo National High School - Hibatang Alab-likha once again showcases their leadership, creativity, and bayanihan skills as they participate in facilitating the recently concluded BSP and GSP Joint Encampment 2025 of Oquendo Central School, this Friday, December 13.

The Senior Scouts and Junior Scouters had fun activities throughout the day, highlighted by different bases where the Senior Scouts shared knowledge and gave hands-on instructions. These included practical lessons such as the proper use of a fire extinguisher, administering first aid, knot tying, understanding the ideals of scouting, and many more skills essential to every scout.

In the afternoon, the excitement continued with fun and games facilitated by the Alab-likha Scouts together with their dedicated coordinator, Mr. Chrisanto Potoy.

And to formally conclude the encampment, everyone gathered around the campfire for performances by each troop, including the Alab-likha Scouts, with a special participation from Mr. Potoy himself. The evening closed with the solemn Scout Benediction, a heartfelt farewell that reminded everyone of the spirit of camaraderie and service—until we meet again.

Heads up, Scouts!

Oquendo National Highschool Boy Scouts of the Philippines — Hibatang Alab-likha is now preparing for the 2025-2026 School Based Encampment today, October 24, 2025.

Senior Scouts and Junior Scouts are encouraged to join the encampment. This encampments proves that even if it's statistics month, it's also time for our Scouts to rise and shine to bravely lead our country.

This encampment involves bonfires, crawling in the mud, and such as Scout Activities.

Each scouts are in each patrols, who will compete to be the best patrol of the Encampment.

May the Best Patrol Wins!

LOOK| Make a use of something, use your Denim! Alab-likha Scouts are trained to lift, carry, and care.

The Alab-likha Scouts of Oquendo National High School gathered today, August 12, 2025 at ONHS field to discuss emergency preparedness training—of how are we going to respond to various emergencies, especially when we are having an outdoor recreation.

With the use of Denim Pants, T-shirts, bamboo sticks, and blankets, the Scouts were taught how to response and perform immediate actions during emergencies as a first aid action without stretchers, and any other emergency kits—learning proper lifting techniques, and using accessible materials to make a self-made stretchers.

This shows that when teamwork is paired with creativity, even an old jeans and shirts become tools for saving lives. The Scouts, once again, proves that everything matters.

TINGNAN | Buong pagmamalaking ginampanan ng Oquendo BSP Hibatang Alab-Likha ang kanilang tungkulin sa isinagawang Fun Run sa Oquendo National High School — hindi upang makipagpaligsahan, kundi para maglingkod. Ang Hibatang Alab-Likha ay nagsagawa ng mga mahahalagang gawain: pagpapanatili ng kaayusan sa paligid, paggabay sa mga kalahok, pagbibigay ng seguridad, at pagtulong sa anumang kailangan. Sa gitna ng kasiglaan ng kaganapan, nananatiling kalmado, nakatutok, at matatag. Sa likod ng matagumpay na aktibidad ng paaralan, ang kanilang determinasyon na tumulong at maglingkod ay sumasalamin sa tunay na diwa ng isang Scout — ang pagiging laging handa at bukas-palad sa paglilingkod.

LOOK| Hibatang Alab-Likha Scouts of ONHS conducted their marching training through the help of Sir Janilo Trinidad – Boy Scouts Coordinator, as a part of the Fridays Activity, yesterday, July 25, 2025.

Marching Training is a basic and a part of the fundamentals of being a Scout, it is where the Scouts flawlessly demonstrate and shows their dedication through marching.

The Senior Scouts, together with the guidance of Sir Trinidad led the Juinor Scouts scouts to folllow along the marching. The event took place at the school's field after class hour, where Scouts are showcasing a meaningful time as for their role.

Hibatang Alab-Likha Scouts of ONHS continues to feign greatness and empowerment, showing a real enthusiasm to serve the country—Republic of the Philippines. As Scouts stay loyal and brave, their commitment and fidelity regarding to being the Scouts Of The Philippines.

LOOK | Hibatang Alab-likha—Voices on the air, values in the heart.

The Hibatang Alab-likha Scouts of ONHS conducted their training at elevated heights through walkie-talkie radio communication activities on July 21, 2025. The hands-on training allowed scouts to understand how clear and respectful communication builds leadership and teamwork skills which serve both emergency situations and regular activities.

The scouts dedicated time to recite the Scout Oath and Scout Law during their radio training session which served as a meaningful moment to remember their core values of honesty service and discipline. The event took place on school grounds after classes finished to establish both educational and reflective and unifying opportunities.

The Hibatang Alab-likha Scouts develop their leadership abilities through teamwork and timeless principles while using technology to become capable communicators who demonstrate the spirit of scouting through both their words and actions.

LOOK | Hibatang Alab-likha—Growing creativity, growing leaders.

The Hibatang Alab-likha Scouts of ONHS showcased their skills in creating trail signs with the use of natural materials such as sticks, stones, and leaves. This outdoor activity highlighted one of the most essential aspects of scouting—communication without any words, through symbols that guide, warn, and inform everyone.

Held on the school grounds, the activity encouraged teamwork, critical thinking, and creativity. Each group of scouts took turns demonstrating different trail signs, applying what they learned during their lecture time, and showing true dedication to the scouting spirit.

With the use of natural materials, collaboration, and critical thinking skills, the scouts, once again, proves that everything matters and creativity is within us.
