๐ San Joaquin CES Successfully Holds Pamaskong Handog 2025! ๐โจ
Despite the inclement weather, San Joaquin Central Elementary School proudly pushed through with the Pamaskong Handog 2025 gift-giving celebrationโan annual initiative of President Ferdinand โBongbongโ Marcos Jr. and the First Family.
This year, DepEd Philippines is one of the beneficiary agencies, and San Joaquin CES is honored to be one of the 100 selected schools. A total of 140 Grade 3 learners joyfully received their gifts and experienced a meaningful, memorable celebration. ๐
We extend our heartfelt gratitude to the following groups who made this event possible:
๐ President Bongbong Marcos, the First Lady, and the First Family for this wonderful nationwide gift-giving initiative.
๐ DepEd Secretary Atty. Sonny Angara, Director Graciela E. Mendoza of the External Partnership Service, and the entire EPS team for their guidance, coordination, and support.
๐ Cong. Stephen James T. Tan, through Maโam Sayong, Sir John, and their team, for providing and setting up the LED wall that elevated the entire program.
๐ Mayor Raymund C. Uy, Vice Mayor Rex M. Daguman, and the Calbayog City Council, especially Hon. Atty. Eduardo P. Tibo, for his presence and generous donation used for student raffle prizes.
๐ Barangay San Joaquin Council led by PB Silverio C. Palima for their all-out supportโproviding a cash donation, tables and chairs, use of the gymnasium as the venue, the service vehicle used to pick up the McDo food packs for the learners, and the assistance of barangay tanods for the smooth flow of the event.

๐บ TV Distribution to Teachers at San Joaquin CES! ๐
San Joaquin Central Elementary School is grateful to the Province of Samar for providing brand-new Smart TVs through the One Values Program. ๐
These TVs were distributed to our teachers to enhance classroom instruction and make learning more engaging and interactive for our learners.

๐ณ San Joaquin CES Begins Recovery After Typhoon Ompong ๐ง๏ธ๐ช
Our school was among those affected by Typhoon Ompong, leaving behind fallen trees, damaged ceilings, and debris that impacted several classrooms. Despite the challenges, our dedicated school personnel and volunteers have already begun clearing operations to make the campus safe for our learners once again.
We remain resilient and hopeful as we work together to restore our school. ๐
๐ We thank everyone who has extended help so far and continue to call on the support of our community and stakeholders as we rebuild.

๐ช Turnover of 60 Monoblock Chairs to San Joaquin CES! ๐ซ๐
We are deeply grateful to Reunion Host Batch 1993 for their generous donation of 60 monoblock chairs to our school. The donation was represented by Maโam Suzette Candaza and warmly received by our Principal, Maโam Nieves C. Javines.
Also present during the turnover was Sir Pablo Delos Santos, President of the Alumni Association, showing continued alumni support for our school.

Our Grade 1 and Grade 4 learners received their school-based immunization today as part of the Department of Health and DepEdโs joint program to protect children from vaccine-preventable diseases. ๐ง๐ง
With the guidance of our health personnel and the support of parents, the activity was carried out smoothly and successfully.
