Christ the King College of Calbayog City, Inc. announces the suspension of Saturday classes and work tomorrow, November 15, 2025, in honor of the birthday celebration of our College President, Rev. Fr. Prisco A. Cajes, OFM, ThD.
This institutional pause allows the CKC community to join in gratitude and celebration for the life and leadership of Fr. Cajes, whose dedicated service continues to guide the College in its mission of transformative Catholic-Franciscan education.
Regular classes and work will resume on Monday, November 17, 2025.
The CKC administration extends its sincere thanks for the continued cooperation of all faculty members, non-teaching personnel, students, and stakeholders as the College commemorates this momentous occasion.

In light of Typhoon Tino and as part of the cityβs disaster preparedness efforts, Christ the King College of Calbayog City, Inc. will serve as an evacuation area tonight at the CKC Frs. David and Leopold Memorial Auditorium.
The CKC community is opening its facilities to provide temporary shelter and safety to affected residents.
All evacuees are advised to bring their essential belongings and personal medicines. CKC personnel are already on-site to assist and facilitate orderly accommodation.
Let us continue to pray for everyoneβs safety and extend compassion to those in need.

In celebration of the 800 Years of the Canticle of Creation, Christ the King College of Calbayog City, Inc. will hold its first-ever βKalakat Para sa Ka-PETsahan ni San Franciscoβ on October 4, 2025 (Saturday), 6:30 AM at Calbayog City proper.
The event will feature a fun walk for pets and their owners, followed by the solemn blessing of animals and plants in honor of St. Francis of Assisi, the patron saint of animals and ecology. In addition, free vaccination for pets will also be available after the blessing.
A registration fee of Php 100.00 will be charged to the studentβs school account. Proceeds from this activity will be used to support the purchase of additional drum and lyre instruments for the CKC Marching Band.
Let us come together as one CKC community in celebrating life, creation, and the spirit of St. Francis. Bring your beloved pets and join us in this meaningful cause!
