In light of the recent shooting incident at a school in Tacloban City, Leyte, Christ the King College of Calbayog City, Inc. offers its prayers and expresses its solidarity with all those affected.

The safety and well-being of our students, faculty, staff, and the entire CKC community remain our highest priority. We are strengthening our security measures, reviewing our emergency protocols, and enhancing coordination among school officials, parents, and students to help ensure a safe and secure learning environment.

We encourage everyone to remain vigilant, act responsibly, and support one another. Safety is a shared responsibility, and together we can foster a campus culture rooted in respect, care, and peace.

Please be informed that we will have a long weekend this week in observance of Philippine Independence Day on June 12 (Friday) and the regular weekend on Saturday and Sunday.
Students are encouraged to use this time to rest, and spend time with their families.
Classes will resume next week.

𝐂𝐊𝐂-𝐈𝐁𝐄𝐃 𝐎𝐅𝐅𝐈𝐂𝐈𝐀𝐋𝐋𝐘 𝐎𝐏𝐄𝐍𝐒 𝐒𝐂𝐇𝐎𝐎𝐋 𝐘𝐄𝐀𝐑 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔-𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟕

The CKC - Integrated Basic Education Department formally opened School Year 2026-2027 today, June 8, 2026, welcoming learners from the Grade School, Junior High School, and Senior High School units.

The opening of classes commenced with a flag ceremony and opening program, bringing together students, faculty members, administrators, and staff in a spirit of unity, gratitude, and enthusiasm for the new academic year. The program featured the opening remarks of Dr. Vilma C. Alburan, Vice President for Academic Affairs, who warmly welcomed the learners and encouraged them to embrace the opportunities, challenges, and responsibilities that come with a new school year.

Following the program, students proceeded to their respective classrooms for orientation sessions, where they were introduced to school policies, academic expectations, and classroom routines designed to ensure a productive and meaningful learning experience throughout the year.

As a new chapter begins, CKC reaffirms its commitment to providing quality Catholic education that nurtures learners intellectually, morally, socially, and spiritually.

Welcome home, Christi Regians! May this school year be filled with learning, growth, faith, and success.

The Senior High School Supreme Student Council Officers kick off this year’s Brigada Eskwela by helping out in clearing and cleaning the SHS building!🧼

With the guidance of the teachers and maintenance staff, the officers were able to work together as one—showing what it means to put in effort for a better community and environment!🍃🌳

With this year’s theme: "𝘉𝘢𝘺𝘢𝘯𝘪𝘩𝘢𝘯 𝘴𝘢 𝘗𝘢𝘢𝘳𝘢𝘭𝘢𝘯: 𝘕𝘢𝘨𝘬𝘢𝘬𝘢𝘪𝘴𝘢 𝘱𝘢𝘳𝘢 𝘴𝘢 𝘒𝘢𝘢𝘺𝘶𝘴𝘢𝘯 𝘢𝘵 𝘒𝘢𝘢𝘭𝘢𝘮𝘢𝘯", may we be successful in preparing a safe, clean, and inspiring school environment for the opening of School Year 2026-2027. 🏫✨
