Brigada Eskwela '24: CCNHS unveils a new facility, enhancing community bonds
CALBAYOG CITY โ Calbayog City National High School (CCNHS), the largest secondary school in Calbayog City Division, unveiled a new facility and celebrated the milestone partnerships in support of Brigada Eskwela 2024 held at the SHS Conference Hall, in the morning of July 22, 2024.
The program commenced with the introduction of guests, where Ms. Leny C. Palomeras, the host, acknowledged the different persons and organizations who contributed to the enhancement of the quality of education and the overall school environment of CCNHS.
Present in the ceremony are the Public Schools District Supervisor, Mrs. Anabelle O. Yangzon, Alumni Members of Batch Sambisig (2011), Media Representative from Radyo Natin 'To, Brgy. Balud and Hamorawon officials, OIC-Assistant School Principal, Mrs. Elizabeth B. Lumod and the very proactive school head, Mr. Milaner R. Oyo-a.
Meanwhile, Mr. Oyo-a, School Principal, addressed his welcome message, highlighting his enthusiasm for the success of the construction of the comfort rooms donated by Batch Sambisig. Oyo-a also thanked the partners from Mcdonalds' Calbayog who wholeheartedly accepted the school principals' request of partnership.
Subsequently, Mrs. Jovierose S. Manatad, from Batch Sambisig, shared the project background by which according to her that their batch was able to fund the construction of two (2) cubicles and the repair of the other comfort rooms that amounted to approximately 125,000 pesos from the proceeds of last years' CCNHS Alumni Homecoming.
As the program progressed, Mrs. Roselyn P. Samson and Ms. April Katheryn B. Castillo also shared their partnership messages to all the witness of the turnover ceremony. They both highlighted their support, and promised to be a partner to the Alma Mater which took a great part in shaping their lives.
In addition, Mr. Oyo-a concluded the program with his acceptance message, emphasizing his plans in making CCNHS' name reach the national platform.
The turnover ceremony came to an end with a ribbon cutting. This symbolizes the meaningful collaboration between the school and the local community, marking the beginning of a new chapter in partnership that aims to promote growth and development among the school environment.
