Northwest Samar State University-Calbayog proudly receives a Plaque of Commendation from the Professional Criminologists Association of the Philippines (PCAP) Region VIII for its exemplary performance in the August 2025 Criminologist Licensure Examination, achieving an impressive 77.27% passing rate and ranking Top 3 among Criminology schools in the region!

The award was received by Dr. Armando A. Alviola CCJS Dean on behalf of NwSSU-Calbayog during the awarding ceremony held at the Leyte Academic Center, Palo, Leyte, on October 11, 2025.

Congratulations to our dedicated faculty, graduates, and students for this remarkable achievement!👏

CCJS students showed their appreciation last October 6, 2025, by organizing a special Teachers’ Day celebration — a tribute to those who teach, guide, and inspire. 💙

Applicants are advised to be at the College of Criminal Justice and Science building on Monday, the 30th of June, 2025. Wear formal attire and bring the original copy of your Senior High School report card and a ballpoint pen.

PS. The exam will start at 9 am in Room 302 of the CCJS Building. After the exam, interviews of the student applicants will follow.
