💙 A MESSAGE FOR OUR WHOLE SCHOOL COMMUNITY
Su***de Prevention and Awareness Month — September 2026
To our dear students, teachers, school personnel, and the entire Baras National High School community:
This September, we join communities around the world in recognizing Su***de Prevention and Awareness Month. This month reminds us of the importance of compassion, understanding, and looking after one another.
School is more than a place where we learn lessons and take examinations. It is also a community where friendships are formed, challenges are faced, and people grow together. Behind every smile is a person who may be carrying struggles that we cannot see.
Let us therefore choose to be kinder to one another. Let us listen without immediately judging, check on our friends, and create an environment where students feel safe asking for help.
If someone is going through a difficult time, we do not have to have all the answers. Sometimes, being present, listening, and helping them reach a trusted teacher, parent or guardian, school counselor, or another responsible adult is already an important step.
Let us remember that asking for help is not a weakness. Caring for one another is a strength.
This month, may our school become a place where everyone knows that they are seen, valued, respected, and worthy of support.
Let us spread kindness—not only this September, but every day.
Listen. Care. Support. Be kind. 💙
With hope and solidarity,
