“Promoting Safety, Transparency, and Responsible Resource Management at Cabicahan Integrated School”

Cabicahan Integrated School continues to strengthen its commitment to providing a safe, secure, and conducive learning environment through the proper utilization of school resources.

📌 School Fence Rehabilitation
Using the 2nd Quarter School MOOE allocation, the school implemented the rehabilitation of the school fence to enhance campus safety and security. This initiative supports the implementation of DILG Memorandum Circular No. 2026-037 on the S.A.F.E.R. School Zones (SSZ) under the S.A.F.E.R. Cities and Safer Communities Initiative, which aims to protect learners, teachers, school personnel, and other stakeholders.

📌 School Transparency Board Improvement
The school also utilized its resources for the improvement of the School Transparency Board in compliance with Division Memorandum No. 239, s. 2026 on the Judicious Utilization of School MOOE and Other Funds and Mandatory Posting on the School Transparency Board. This ensures that important school financial information and updates are visibly posted to promote transparency, accountability, and responsible governance.

Through these projects, Cabicahan Integrated School continues to uphold safety, accountability, and efficient management of school funds for the benefit of the entire school community. 💙💛

🥗🌿 Nutrition Month Celebration: Learning Through Healthy Food Preparation! 🌿🥗

As part of the Nutrition Month Celebration, Cabicahan Integrated School successfully integrated nutrition education into meaningful classroom activities that promoted healthy eating habits and practical life skills.

Our Secondary learners showcased their creativity and culinary skills during their Technology and Livelihood Education (TLE) Food Preparation Laboratory Activity by preparing a variety of fresh, nutritious salads. Through this hands-on experience, learners applied proper food safety and sanitation practices, demonstrated correct food preparation techniques, and gained a deeper appreciation for the value of healthy and balanced meals. In Science, they conducted Laboratory Activity, where they performed laboratory tests to identify the nutrients present in different food samples using scientific procedures and laboratory equipment.

Meanwhile, our Elementary learners enthusiastically prepared simple, nutritious foods that they happily shared and enjoyed together. This activity encouraged healthy eating, cooperation, and the importance of making nutritious food choices from an early age.

These engaging activities highlight that learning goes beyond the classroom—empowering our learners to develop essential life skills while embracing healthy lifestyles.

Together, let us continue to promote proper nutrition and inspire every learner to make healthy choices every day!

🥗🍎 Healthy Food, Healthy Mind, Healthy Future! 💚
