The Bachelor of Science in Food Technology proudly concluded their first-ever Educational tour in Cebu City held last October 22โ24, 2025, with the participation of both third-year and fourth-year students. Accompanied by their Program Chair Mrs. Maria Norfrelij Juanillo and faculty members Ms. Maria Joana Nicolas and Mr. Jerwin Mabilangan, the tour served as a valuable opportunity for experiential learning and professional growth.
During the three-day tour, students visited various food manufacturing and processing facilities where they gained insights into food safety practices, quality control, production processes, and technological innovations shaping the modern food industry.
This successful activity reflects the BS Food Technology programโs commitment to providing holistic, hands-on, and industry-driven learning experiences that equip students to become competent, responsible, and future-ready Food Technologists. ๐

The Philippine Association of Food Technologist - NwSSU Student Chapter ( PAFT - NSC) successfully organized this yearโs General Assembly held on September 10, 2025!
The said event was led by Mr. Jovert Roa, the PAFT-NSC President, presenting the calendar of activities for this academic year and the presentation of the new design for the organizationโs shirt. The event also featured the oath-taking of the newly elected officers, marking the start of their term of service. A special moment of the event was the formal turnover of leadership from the outgoing president, Ms. Ma. Maureen Serrato, to Mr. Jovert Roa that symbolizes the continuity of commitment and dedication within the organization.
