The Lone Golden Boy 🥇🏸

SYRONJAMES T. LIGAN has emerged as Limarayon Integrated School’s lone gold medalist during the District Selection Meet 2026, making a remarkable statement in Badminton Men’s Singles B – Secondary.

With determination, discipline, and exceptional skill on the court, Syronjames carried the hopes of LIS and secured the only gold medal for the school in the district competition. His victory is a testament to the power of hard work, perseverance, and unwavering commitment to excellence.

Now, the journey continues.

Syronjames is set to represent Limarayon Integrated School in the upcoming Calbayog City Wide Meet this September, together with the school’s Pencak Silat athletes:

🎨 Unleashing the Artist Within! 🎨

Our Grade 8 learners brought creativity to life as they showcased their artistic talents through a Mural Painting Activity with the inspiring theme, “Education is Power.” Conducted as part of their MAPEH 8 lesson, the activity allowed students to transform their ideas into meaningful works of art that highlight the value of education in shaping individuals and communities.

More than creating colorful murals, the learners demonstrated creativity, teamwork, critical thinking, and self-expression—qualities that inspire them to become the visual artists of the new generation.

🏆 Congratulations to Group 2 for receiving the Best Mural Painting Award! Your outstanding creativity, collaboration, and artistic excellence truly captured the spirit of the theme.

We also extend our heartfelt gratitude to our esteemed judges—Sir Ram, Ma’am Jobel, Grade 10 learners Kim and Marsh—for generously sharing their time and expertise in evaluating the murals. Kim’s and Marsh’s participation also served as part of the Grade 10 MAPEH lesson on Analyzing Creative Works, making this activity a meaningful learning experience across grade levels.
