Celebrating the Feast of St. Francis of Assisi the Filipino way!

Through laro ng lahi, we honor his love for simplicity, unity, and joy in God’s creation. Just as St. Francis embraced peace and togetherness, we come together as one family of faith, playing, laughing, and living out his spirit of harmony with one another and with nature. 🌍💚

Celebration for the Feast of St. Francis! ✨🌿

Held on October 4, 2025, the Kalakat for the Feast of St. Francis of Assisi was a joyful celebration of faith, unity, and gratitude. Each step taken reflected devotion and appreciation for God’s creation, inspired by St. Francis’ deep love for nature, peace, and simplicity. 🌞👣

More than just a walk, it was a meaningful reminder to live with kindness, humility, and compassion. The celebration also included the Blessing of Pets, honoring St. Francis as the patron saint of animals and showing love for all creatures, great and small. Through this celebration, everyone was encouraged to follow the example of St. Francis — to care for others, protect the environment, and walk each day with faith and a grateful heart. 💚🐦🐾
