More than just a structure, this pavilion represents the Councilโs continued commitment to building a student-centered environment that promotes both productivity and well-being. A place where review sessions turn into shared successes, casual conversations become meaningful memories, and quiet moments of rest remind us to pause and recharge.
This project stands as a testament that leadership is not only seen in programs and events, but also in creating lasting spaces that genuinely serve the needs of the students. As another legacy is built, CSC-CCJS hopes that this Eco Pavilion will continue to become a home for learning, growth, friendship, and inspiration for every student who walks through it. ๐
Because sometimes, the best ideas are formed in the simplest spaces.

Leadership, growth, and meaningful connections flourished as nine students from the College of Criminal Justice and Sciences (CCJS) proudly participated in the ๐๐๐๐๐-๐๐๐๐พ ๐พ๐๐ข๐ฅ ๐๐๐๐ค๐ก ๐๐๐๐ held on May 1โ3, 2026. Guided by the theme, โ๐๐ช๐ง๐ฉ๐ช๐ง๐๐ฃ๐ ๐ฉ๐๐ ๐๐๐๐๐จ ๐ค๐ ๐๐ค๐ข๐ค๐ง๐ง๐ค๐ฌ, ๐๐๐จ๐๐ฃ๐ ๐๐จ ๐ฉ๐๐ ๐๐๐ก๐ก๐๐ง๐จ ๐ค๐ ๐๐ค๐ข๐ค๐ง๐ง๐ค๐ฌ,โ the three-day camp became a venue for aspiring student leaders and delegates from different colleges to strengthen not only their knowledge and skills, but also their sense of purpose, responsibility, and service to the community. In addition, several student leaders from the CSC-CCJS also took part as facilitators, showcasing dedication and commitment in ensuring the success of the activity.
Throughout the camp, the participants were exposed to various enriching discussions and interactive workshops that aimed to develop their leadership potential. Moreover, sessions on effective leadership and proper meeting management provided students with practical insights on how to become responsible and efficient leaders within their respective organizations. At the same time, discussions about project management and effective project proposal making equipped the participants with essential skills needed in planning, organizing, and implementing meaningful programs and activities that can create positive impact within the university and the community.
Furthermore, Camp Sibol also emphasized the importance of mental health and emotional well-being among students. Through mental health awareness talks, participants were reminded that leadership is not only about strength and competence, but also about understanding oneself, managing stress, and supporting others. In todayโs fast-paced academic environment, these conversations became especially meaningful as they encouraged students to value self-care, empathy, and resilience while pursuing their goals and responsibilities.
Aside from the educational sessions, the camp also featured basic first aid training and engaging team-building activities that promoted unity, cooperation, and camaraderie among the participants. Through these activities, students were able to develop trust, communication, and teamwork while creating memories and friendships that will surely remain beyond the duration of the camp. More importantly, the experience allowed them to step out of their comfort zones, discover their strengths, and appreciate the value of working together toward a common goal.
Indeed, NWSSU-ISSC Camp Sibol 2026 became more than just a leadership campโit became a transformative experience that inspired students to grow into responsible individuals and future leaders of society. As the CCJS delegates and facilitators return with new knowledge, experiences, and perspectives, they carry with them the values of leadership, service, discipline, and excellence that will continue to guide them both inside and outside the university.

With deep sadness, we join the family, friends, classmates, and the entire CCJS community in mourning the loss of ๐๐๐ฟ๐ฎ ๐๐ฒ๐ฒ ๐. ๐๐ป๐ผ๐๐ฎ๐ฑ๐ผ, a Bachelor of Science in Community Development (2nd year) student.
Lyra was more than a classroom president and student leader, she was a light to many, bringing kindness, joy, and genuine care to everyone she met. Her presence made ordinary moments special, and the memories shared with her will forever be treasured in our hearts.
As we grieve this painful loss, we also remember the beautiful impact she made through her leadership, compassion, and dedication to serving others. Though words may never be enough to ease the sorrow, may her family find comfort in knowing that Lyra was deeply loved, admired, and remembered by so many lives she touched.
