On June 28, 2026, from 8:00 AM to 11:00 AM, LFS Training and Assessment Center welcomed the participants of the Local Guiding Services NC II for their orientation held at the LFS Training and Assessment Center.

The orientation marked the beginning of the trainees' journey as they were introduced to the program, its objectives, course expectations, and the vital role of local guides in promoting the culture, heritage, and tourism destinations of our communities.

The activity was graced by Maricel Aragones Perez, Head of the Planning Development and Tourism Standards Division, and Redencion Crisostomo, Community Development Officer, representing the Laguna Tourism Culture Arts & Trade Office (LTCATO) of Laguna Provincial Tourism Office. Their presence highlighted the importance of strong collaboration between government agencies and training institutions in developing competent and tourism-ready professionals.

LFS Training and Assessment Center is proud to have participated in the Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) Signing Ceremony held on July 17, 2026, at the University of Cabuyao Gym 1.

The ceremony, led by the City Government of Cabuyao MAYOR Dennis DENHA Hain through PESO Cabuyao City, brought together TESDA / TESDA Region IV-A Provincial Director Zorie Amper, University of Cabuyao Technical Vocational Institutions (TVIs), government agencies, and industry partners in a shared commitment to provide greater access to technical-vocational education, scholarship programs, and employment opportunities for the people of Cabuyao.

As one of the partner Technical Vocational Institutions, LFS is honored to support this initiative, including the โ‚ฑ900,000 Scholarship Grant for Local Guiding Services NC II, which will help open more opportunities for aspiring learners to gain industry-relevant skills and nationally recognized qualifications.

Representing LFS Training and Assessment Center during the MOA Signing Ceremony were Leny Gutierrez, Hazel Benemerito, and Kris Dela Ysla, reaffirming the institution's commitment to quality training, meaningful partnerships, and community development.
