In response to the Regional Memorandum (School Calendar Adjustment in CALABARZON to Foster Academic Ease), Makativille Elementary School announces the following:

✅Academic Health Break (JANUARY 17 - 28, 2022) - This suspension includes all other activities, whether physical or online that involves school-based personnel, learners and parents.

✅Mid-Year Break - JANUARY 31 - FEBRUARY 5, 2022

✅Resume of Classes - FEBRUARY 7, 2022

MATHik-Tok Challenge
A. MECHANICS:
1. Each section can have more than 1 entry.
2. There is no limit on number of participants.
3. There will be the same sound/music to be used in the contest – MATHDali Song (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4sU6osLo6bk)
4. The finish video will be sent to your Math Teacher or directly to Ms. Mary Grace V. Esturco.
5. The deadline of submission of entries is on January 14, 2022 at 5:00 in the afternoon.
6. Top 3 winners will be chosen from each Key Stage.
 Key Stage 1 – Grade 1 and 2
 Key Stage 2 – Grade 3 and 4
 Key Stage 3 – Grade 5 and 6

B. CRITERIA FOR JUDGING
1. Creativity and Originality (30 points)
- Entries must be the students’ own work and in the student’s own ideas. The entries must reflect that the student has carefully examined and thought through the topic.

2. Content (20 points)
- The video must be relevant to the theme, and must be timely.

3. Technical Organization (30 points)
- The video must be well presented in regard to continuity, timing, camera operation, sound quality, and editing.

4. People’s Choice – Most Reacts (20 points)
- The videos will be posted on DepEd Tayo Makativille ES - Laguna page. The entries will be ranked based on the number of reactions and the corresponding points will be added to the final Judges’ score.

I. MATHLikha: Poster Making Contest

A. MECHANICS:
1. All learners from Grade 1 – 6 are encouraged to join the contest.
2. Media to be used are as follows:
a. Short bond paper
b. Coloring materials (Crayons and/or Oil Pastels are required)
c. Permanent Marker and Sign pen
d. Pencil
3. The deadline of submission of entries is on January 7, 2022 at 5:00 in the afternoon.
4. BEST 3 will be chosen by the adviser then will be included in the FINAL ENTRIES to be judged.
5. Top 3 for each Key Stage will be chosen as winners.
