August 3, 2023 — The Department of Education (DepEd) announces that the opening of classes for School Year 2023-2024 in all public schools will be on August 29, 2023.

Private schools may choose to open classes on any date starting “the first Monday of June but not later than the last day of August," pursuant to Republic Act 11480.

PBBM declares Feb. 24 as special non-working day

President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. has declared Friday, February 24 as a special non-working day “to enable Filipinos to enjoy the benefits of holiday economics.”

Malacañang on Thursday released Proclamation No. 167 signed by President Marcos, declaring a holiday throughout the country in line with the celebration of EDSA People Power Revolution Anniversary.

“The celebration of EDSA People Power Revolution Anniversary may be moved from 25 February 2023 (Saturday) to 24 February 2023 (Friday), provided that the historical significance of the EDSA People Power Revolution Anniversary is maintained,” the President said in the proclamation.

The Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) is directed to issue appropriate circular to implement the proclamation for the private sector.

President Marcos has earlier signed Proclamation 90 pushing for holiday economics, aimed at ushering in long weekends to provide Filipinos much-needed opportunity for travel while at the same time help government prop up its tourism revenues. (PND)

The Dayap National Integrated High School (DNIHS) received a lot of information that there are several pages/accounts on social media that used the name of our beloved school. The pages are being used to send confession letter, some inappropriate messages that contains hatred comments. We would like to inform everyone that there are no such a thing or event that are officially conducted and connected to any official organization under the name of our school except this page that has been made exclusively for the SSG of DNIHS.

We, in the Supreme Student Government will not tolerate that kind of action. We will do anything in our authority to take down and track the creators of fraudulent pages to preserve the name of our school. We’re also strictly prohibit students from using the name of our school on social media without the consent of the authority.

Kindly inform us using this page if more accounts were seen using the name of our school.

Pasasalamat po sa aming Resourceful Speaker, ang nagbigay ng isang makabuluhang aral sa aming mga estudyante walang iba kundi ang Razon Family! Maraming maraming salamat po Ptr. Richard Razon and to his daughter Ms. Micah Razon.
