📢 SRES COMMITS TO SAFE SPACES! 🧡🧡🧡

Today, December 5, 2025, Sta. Rosa Elementary School successfully held its Gender and Development (GAD) Seminar with the theme: "Building a Culture of Respect from Gender Awareness to Safer School Experiences"

The seminar covered vital topics to ensure a protected school environment:

- Gender Roles and Stereotypes in Education
- RA 7877: Anti-Sexual Harassment Act
- RA 9262: Anti-Violence Against Women and Their Children Act of 2004 (VAWC)
- RA 11313: Safe Spaces Act (“Anti-Bastos Law”)

This training equips our personnel with the necessary tools and legal knowledge to maintain a respectful and safer learning community.

Together, we commit to promoting respect, safety, and gender awareness in our school community. It is another step taken into making SRES a champion for GAD advocacy!

Sta. Rosa Elementary School sincerely expresses its profound gratitude to the National Grid Corporation of the Philippines (NGCP) for their generous donation of school bags to our 131 learners through their Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) program.

This is truly another blessing for our school and for Project FIRM – Fostering Inclusive and Resilient Mutualism. Our learners are delighted with their “Gamit ni Bulilit”, which will surely support them in their learning journey.

We likewise extend our appreciation to our Schools Division Office, through the SGOD – Social Mobilization and Networking Section, for their invaluable coordination with NGCP in making this initiative possible for the benefit of the Sta. Rosa Elementary School learners.

Sta. Rosa Elementary School Strengthens Project HARDIN through Orientation

On August 15, 2025, Sta. Rosa Elementary School successfully conducted the Orientation on the Gulayan sa Paaralan Program (GPP) with the participation of parents, school personnel, and the PTA.

During the activity, the school GPP coordinator presented the Action Plan for SY 2025–2026 under Project HARDIN (Halaman Ating Responsableng Dalhin, Isabuhay ang Nutrisyon), emphasizing its goals to promote nutrition, sustainability, and community partnership through a functional and sustainable school garden.

The collective support of stakeholders reflect the school's commitment to transform the school garden into more than just a food source for the feeding program, but also a vibrant learning hub that promotes wellness, nutrition, and environmental stewardship.

🧩 Panimula: Ano ang DepEd Order No. 015, s. 2025?

Bilang tugon sa mga magulang, g**o, at punong g**o na may mga tanong ukol sa tamang edad ng mga papasok sa Kindergarten, inilabas ng Department of Education ang bagong patakaran na nagbibigay linaw at tuntunin sa dalawang provision upang mas mapadali ang pagpasok ng mga bata sa paaralan na may birthday mula Nobyembre 1 hanggang Disyembre 31.

✅ 1. Ano ang bagong cut-off age para sa Kindergarten?

Ang bata ay dapat limang (5) taong gulang sa o bago ang Oktubre 31 ng school year upang matanggap sa Kindergarten.

🗓️ 2. Paano kung ang birthday ng bata ay mula Nobyembre 1 hanggang Disyembre 31?

Maaaring tanggapin kung masatisfy ang alinman sa dalawang provision sa ibaba:

📌 Nakatapos ang bata ng isang (1) school year ng Early Childhood Care and Development (ECCD) program mula sa:

Pampubliko o pribadong Child Development Centers (CDCs)

Learning Centers na may permit o recognition

Certificate of Completion o Certificate of Attendance mula sa naturang center.

📋 4. Ano ang Provision 2?

📌 Ang bata ay kailangang sumailalim sa Philippine Early Childhood Development (ECD) Checklist assessment na isasagawa ng paaralan.

📅 Kailan ito isinasagawa?

Sa enrollment period hanggang sa unang linggo ng klase

👩‍🏫 Sino ang mag-a-assess?

Kindergarten teacher ng paaralan

📂 Para saan ang checklist?

Upang matiyak na handa ang bata para sa Kindergarten

Ang resulta ng assessment ay magiging batayan sa pagtanggap

Ang checklist ay isasama sa opisyal na record ng bata

❌ 5. Puwede bang tanggapin ang bata kahit walang ECCD certificate at hindi na-assess?
