Calauag East District showcased the creativity, ingenuity, academic excellence, and artistic talents of its learners during the 4th Congressional District Festival of Talents (FOT) 2026 at Tagkawayan Districts 1 & 2, earning several notable rankings across various elementary and secondary events.
The festival brought together talented learners from different schools in the congressional district, providing them with a meaningful avenue to demonstrate their knowledge, skills, creativity, teamwork, and passion in various fields.
Representing Calauag East District, learners from Municipal Sector Elementary School, San Roque Ilaya National High School, Calauag East Central Elementary School, Capaluhan Elementary School, and Viลas Elementary School competed in various events and delivered commendable performances.
Leading and providing guidance to the districtโs participation was Public Schools District Supervisor Ma'am Helen R. Esternon, whose leadership and support helped ensure the effective preparation and participation of the districtโs delegates. She was assisted by District FOT Lead Focal Person Ma'am Clara Mae M. Rocero, who provided coordination and support in the implementation and participation of the district in the festival.
Among the districtโs notable achievements was the 2nd Place finish in STEMazing (Elementary) by Jared R. Verdeflor and Dirk Francois R. Tarrega of Calauag East Central Elementary School, coached by Sir Robert E. Tarrega, under the leadership of School Principal Ma'am Lorenza Hazel T. Ruiz, EdD.
The district also secured 3rd Place in PintaBulilit, with Gillian L. Honrubia of Capaluhan Elementary School, coached by Sir Ejhay Heaven M. Mendoza and led by School Principal Sir Rhoderick C. Bumanglag.
Another strong showing came from Indak ng Lahi, Awit ng Lipi, where nine learners from Calauag East Central Elementary SchoolโFrancine P. Abrera, Kylie Cristina P. Porto, Marga Solenn A. Porto, Maria Eleshia R. Adricula, Marcauz Nyxian B. Campo, Francis S. Tardecilla, Yoshua Jude T. Paglinawan, Rajen Hurry O. Mendones, and Kurt Damian C. Lagsitโearned 3rd Place. They were coached by Sir Tristan Oleta and Ma'am Realeen P. Gaza, with School Principal Ma'am Lorenza Hazel T. Ruiz, EdD providing school leadership and support.
Meanwhile, Shavrainne C. Paras of Viลas Elementary School achieved 5th Place in the Plot Twisting Challenge, coached by School Principal Mr. Edgardo T. Tarusan.
The district likewise demonstrated its strength in technology, population development, science, mathematics, and filmmaking-related events.
Troy Lynard E. Lobioso and Rhealyn A. Potonia of Municipal Sector Elementary School placed 6th in TechnoFusion, coached by Ma'am Ma. Jessa R. Tarrega and Sir Edgardo Olivar, with Maโam Nenita D. Bernal as School Principal.
In the PopDev Challenge, CJ Rose Rodriguez of San Roque Ilaya National High School earned 6th Place, coached by Maโam Laarni T. Zalatar and supported by School Principal Sir Reynaldo I. Zamora I.
The school also posted a commendable result in STEMazing (Secondary), with Kristine Joy S. Calditaran and Ma. Teresa V. Lama securing 11th Place, coached by Jheviline D. Leopando under School Principal Reynaldo I. Zamora I.
In the Math Quiz Bee (Secondary), learners from San Roque Ilaya National High School demonstrated their mathematical skills, with Marielle R. Losito placing 15th in Grade 7, Jules Dione L. Esteban placing 10th in Grade 8, Jeanna D. Espejo placing 14th in Grade 9, and Ernesto C. Idea Jr. achieving an impressive 7th Place in Grade 10. The learners were guided by their respective coaches Kimberly M. Dimalaluan, Mark A. Diasanta, and Edilyn P. Diasanta, with School Principal Reynaldo I. Zamora I providing leadership and support.
In the creative field, CineMunti participants from San Roque Ilaya National High School also represented the district, with Shaine A. Paraiso as Scriptwriter, Ashley Cabana for Movie Poster, Princess Joy C. Puada and Jasmin Franz M. Maramba as Filmmakers, and Ester D. Abellardo and Fritz Cedrick D. Maramba as Artists. The team placed 8th, under the guidance of coach Maโam Edcel S. Umali and School Principal Sir Reynaldo I. Zamora I.
The successful conduct of the 4th Congressional District Festival of Talents 2026 was further supported by the special participation of Calauag East District personnel who served as facilitators and judges during the various festival events.
Serving as Facilitators were Sir Eduardo R. Reduta and Maโam Marianne J. Maglalang, who contributed their time, expertise, and dedication to ensuring the smooth and organized implementation of the festival activities.
Also demonstrating professional service and commitment were Judges Maโam Marivell B. Salamanes, Sir Raymund E. Satana, PhD, and Sir Rogel F. Magsino, EdD, who shared their expertise and exercised fairness and objectivity in evaluating the performances and outputs of participating learners.
Their involvement exemplified the spirit of collaboration and shared responsibility among education personnel in providing meaningful and enriching opportunities for learners.
The accomplishments of Calauag East District at the 4th Congressional District Festival of Talents 2026 reflect the dedication and hard work of its learners, coaches, school heads, teachers, parents, and the entire school community.
