“Honesty is the best policy” the saying goes. To attest that this legendary principle is still valued the Barkada Kontra Droga (BKD) Organization launched an “Honesty Store” on February 27, 2023 in Calatrava Senior High School-Stand Alone.

The goal and objective of the organization was achieved on the first day, therefore it is deemed worthy to be continued in the next days. In addition to the primary purpose, the organization also aim to accumulate organizational funds to augment its financial needs.

The Calatrava Senior High School - Teen Center: Barkada Kontra Droga Program participated in the Valentine's Day Celebration together with the Supreme Student Government (SSG), Youth for Environmental in School Organization (YES-O), Boys and Girls Scouts, CASIKHAS, Arts Club, and Multi Media. The Barkada Kontra Droga organization prepared a "Red String Booth" for the students of CSHS-SA. The event successfully gave the students a chance to enjoy a day of fun, positivity, and love and also to have a memorable day of hearts.

"Addressing Drug Challenges in Health and Humanitarian Crises."

The CSHS-SA Barkada Kontra Droga held a symposium in celebration of Drug Abuse Prevention and Control 2022.Drugs have been considered one of the roots of major social problems. To show support for the government's war on drugs and criminality, the Department of Education has also done its fair share with its National Drug Education Program (NDEP). For this school year, 2022–2023, Calatrava Senior High School—Stand Alone organized a symposium on drug awareness for the members of the BKD Organization.

The CSHS-SA Barkada Kontra Droga held a poster and slogan-making competition in celebration of Drug Abuse Prevention and Control 2022 with the theme "Addressing Drug Challenges in Health and Humanitarian Crises."

A total of six (6) contestants showcased their talents in art and a mind full of ideas. For the poster-making competition, the winners are:

🥈Zabale Hazel Faye - 2nd placer
🥉Reyna Jamaica Macadaya - 3rd placer
🎖️Cheryl Rose L. Alojacin - 4th placer

For the slogan-making competition, the winners are:

🥈Madell C. Tuso - 2nd placer

The Barkada Kontra Droga officers, together with the BKD members of Calatrava Senior High School—Stand Alone, held their first meeting. The assembly was all about the BKD constitution and bylaws and preparation for their upcoming plans in their future activities, projects, and programs.
