On December 17, 2025, they attended the awarding ceremony at 𝕸𝖆𝖗𝖙𝖔𝖓 𝕮𝖚𝖎 𝕳𝖆𝖑𝖑, 𝕸𝖚𝖓𝖎𝖈𝖎𝖕𝖆𝖑𝖎𝖙𝖞 𝖔𝖋 𝕮𝖆𝖑𝖆𝖙𝖗𝖆𝖛𝖆, to receive their well-deserved rewards. Their winning entry showcased not only effective solid waste management practices but also spread awareness on keeping our surroundings clean and highlighted the potential of transforming waste into innovative and useful resources. Great job, YES-O officers!

We are proud to share that 𝔐𝔞𝔯𝔦𝔢𝔫𝔷 𝔍𝔬𝔲𝔢𝔩𝔩𝔞 𝔖. 𝔐𝔞𝔥𝔦𝔫𝔞𝔶, our dedicated YES-O President, proudly represents Calatrava, Negros Occidental as one of the participants in this transformative leadership journey.

The 𝕯𝖎𝖛𝖎𝖘𝖎𝖔𝖓 𝖔𝖋 𝕹𝖊𝖌𝖗𝖔𝖘 𝕺𝖈𝖈𝖎𝖉𝖊𝖓𝖙𝖆𝖑 proudly presents the FINALIZATION AND SIMULATION OF THE CIRCLE OF OUTSTANDING LEADERS (COOL) CAMP – SECONDARY, hosted by Binalbagan National High School on November 20–22, 2025. With the empowering theme, “𝗣𝗮𝗴𝗽𝗮𝗻𝗴𝗹𝗮𝗸𝗮𝘁𝗼𝗻: 𝗤𝘂𝗲𝘀𝘁 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗕𝗿𝗮𝘃𝗲 𝗛𝗲𝗮𝗿𝘁𝘀, 𝗧𝗿𝗮𝗶𝗹 𝗼𝗳 𝗧𝗿𝘂𝗲 𝗟𝗲𝗮𝗱𝗲𝗿𝘀.” 🗺️🔥 this camp marks an exciting return for young Negrense leaders ready to grow, connect, and lead with purpose. Change starts with small actions. 🌱

The Solid Waste Management Symposium, spearheaded by the YES-O officers, served as an avenue to raise awareness and strengthen students' commitment towards environmental responsibility. With Guest Speaker Evenell Solidum Caballero, the program highlighted the importance of proper waste segregation, recycling, and sustainable practices in preserving our surroundings for future generations.

On September 02, 2025, we, the Youth for Environment in Schools Organisation (YES-O) Officers together with our beloved YES-O Adviser and Co-Adviser recognised the sections that achieved the STARS AWARD and the ZERO WASTE CHAMPION AWARD. Additionally, we honoured the MOST ACTIVE PRESIDENT from each of these awarded sections.

These awards do not only celebrate achievements but also the commitment to a cleaner school community and a brighter tomorrow. 🍃

Calatrava Senior High School - Stand Alone joined the Zero Waste Month Clean-Up Drive at Brgy. Bantayanon last January 24 with the theme “Integrating Sustainability and Circularity into the Informal Waste Sector.” 🌍🌿
