A meaningful day of commitment, leadership, and service unfolded at MAYOR A. R. TUAZON NATโ€™L SCHOOL OF FISHERIES (MARTNSF) during the BSPโ€“GSP Investiture and Rededication Ceremonies held on August 20, 2026 at the MARTNSF Covered Court.

The ceremony marked an important milestone for our Girl Scouts, Boy Scouts, and Rover Scouts as they renewed their commitment to the ideals of scouting and embraced the responsibility to lead, serve, and make a difference in their school and community.

Our heartfelt appreciation goes to our dedicated scouting coordinators: Ms. Cristel Curit, Girl Scouts Coordinator; Mr. Arjay Monares, Boy Scouts Coordinator; and Ms. Aerial Dove Blasco, Circle Manager. Thank you for your time, guidance, patience, and unwavering commitment to our Scouts and Rovers.

We are equally grateful to our visitors from the Boy Scouts of the Philippines โ€“ Bohol Council for gracing the occasion and sharing in this significant moment with our young scouts. Your presence added meaning and inspiration to the celebration.

Our sincere thanks also go to our Institutional Head, Dr. Kenneth Regene B. From being the Editorial Editor of The Fishers to representing MARTNSF in the Bohol Sandugo Geo Quiz Bee, Mark Ivan continues to make his school proud in ways that go beyond the classroom. Opisyal na binuksan ngayong umaga ng MAYOR A. R. TUAZON NAT'L SCHOOL OF FISHERIES (MARTNSF) ang pagdiriwang ng Buwan ng Wika 2026 sa pangunguna ni G. Rudy B. Llemit, Pinuno ng Kagawaran ng Filipino.

Sinimulan ang programa sa isang banal na misa bilang pasasalamat at paghingi ng gabay ng Poong Maykapal para sa isang matagumpay at makabuluhang pagdiriwang. Sinundan ito ng isang maikling programa kung saan buong pagmamalaking itinampok ng mga piling mag-aaral ang kanilang makukulay at makahulugang pambansang kasuotan, na sumasalamin sa mayamang kultura, kasaysayan, at pagkakakilanlang Pilipino. Bilang pagkilala sa kanilang pagsisikap at aktibong pakikilahok, labing-isang (11) mag-aaral ang pinagkalooban ng munting gantimpala bilang pasasalamat at pagpapahalaga.

Para sa taong 2026, itinakda ng Komisyon sa Wikang Filipino (KWF) ang temang "Wikang Filipino at AI: Kasangkapan sa Pananaliksik at Tulay sa Yaman ng Impormasyon." Binibigyang-diin ng temang ito ang mahalagang papel ng wikang Filipino sa makabagong panahon kung saan patuloy na umuunlad ang Artipisyal na Intelihensiya (Artificial Intelligence o AI). Hinihikayat nito ang mga mag-aaral na gamitin ang AI nang responsable bilang katuwang sa pananaliksik, paglikha ng kaalaman, at pagpapalawak ng akses sa impormasyon, habang patuloy na pinagyayaman at pinangangalagaan ang ating sariling wika.

Lubos ang pasasalamat ng MARTNSF sa lahat ng mga mag-aaral, g**o, at mga magulang na nakiisa at nagbigay ng kanilang buong suporta sa pagbubukas ng pagdiriwang. Kasabay rin ng programa ang Panunumpa sa Tungkulin ng mga bagong halal na opisyal ng Homeroom Parents-Teachers Association (HRPTA), na pinangunahan ni Dr. Kenneth Regene B. Blasco, Punong-g**o ng paaralan. Ang gawaing ito ay nagpapatibay sa ugnayan ng paaralan at ng mga magulang tungo sa sama-samang pagtataguyod ng de-kalidad na edukasyon para sa bawat mag-aaral.

Nawa'y magsilbing inspirasyon ang pagdiriwang na ito upang higit nating mahalin, gamitin, at pagyamanin ang ating wikang pambansa, sapagkat ito ang salamin ng ating pagkatao, kasaysayan, at pagkakaisa bilang isang sambayanan.

Ang MARTNSF ay nakikiisa sa taonang pagdiriwang ng Buwan ng Wika 2026. Alinsunod sa Proklamasyon Blg. 1041, s. 1997, ang buwan ng Agosto ay itinakda bilang Buwan ng Wikang Pambansa upang higit na mapalaganap ang pagpapahalaga sa wikang Filipino bilang mahalagang salik ng pambansang identidad, kultura, at pagkakaisa. Para sa taong 2026, itinakda ng Komisyon sa Wikang Filipino (KWF) ang temang "Wikang Filipino at AI: Kasangkapan sa Pananaliksik at Tulay sa Yaman ng Impormasyon."
