The 1st Regional Assembly of Education Leaders in MIMAROPA held last July 9-11 at Great Eastern Hotel, Quezon City was a resounding success!πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘

NAPSSHI Oriental Mindoro is grateful for this opportunity and extends heartfelt gratitude to our Schools Division Superintendent Dr. Maria Luisa D. Servando for allowing 72 Secondary School Heads to participate.

We’re honored for the presence and insights of our DepEd Secretary, Hon. Sonny Angara, Regional Director Nicanor T. Capulong, ARD Cherrylou D. Repia, and BHROD USEC Wilfredo E. Cabral.

We got to learn from the best with the insights shared on instructional excellence, innovative leadership, collaborative approaches, and adaptive management of the following well-paced Resource Speakers:

Dr. Edizon Angeles Fermin
Vice President for Academic Affairs, NTC

Rev. Father Paul Glen Gomez
Rector, Christ the King Mission Seminary

ASEC Janir T. Tadukan
Asst. Secretary for Curriculum and Teaching

Dr. Gina O. Gonong
Undersecretary for Curriculum and Teaching

Atty. Rowena Candice Ruiz
Undersecretary – designate for Procurement & Finance

ASEC. Carmela C. Oracion
Asst. Secretary for Human Resource & Organization and Development

Atty. Wade A. Latawan
Executive Director of the Legal Edge Education Law Resources & Publications
Legal Counsel of PESPA

With the valuable insights and information gained, DepEd Secretary Angara’s message resonated deeply with us…

β€œWe are decentralizing the power, the power to decide, the power to mobilize the resources and funds.

This assembly, themed: β€œNavigating New Horizons: Empowering Principals in Leadership and Curriculum Innovation,” truly leveled up our understanding of transformational leadership, innovation, and collaboration.

Once again, on behalf of NAPSSHI Ormin and Pres. Josie Panagsagan, thank you so much to Schools Division of Oriental Mindoro for the opportunity given to grow as education leaders.

Armed with new learnings, as principals and catalysts for change, we will continue working together with our education partners to improve education delivery and make a difference in the lives of our learners.

As empowered school leaders, we’re now equipped to lead excellence and drive transformative change in our schools.
