Every year, as a tradition, I carefully select 2 outstanding scholars from the graduating Grade 12 class of Astes. These exceptional individuals are chosen based on their academic achievements, dedication, economic background and potential for success. It is a momentous occasion as these scholars embark on their journey to college, a significant milestone in their educational pursuit.

As these scholars prepare to transition to college life, they carry with them not only their academic accomplishments but also the values and principles instilled in them during their time at Astes. It is a proud moment for the school community to witness these bright minds take the next step towards realizing their full potential. The impact of their journey to college extends far beyond the confines of the classroom, shaping not only their futures but also the world around them.

This year, we are renaming our scholarship program to the Ariel Cayetano Scholarship Foundation, in honor of our late school administrator.

The Ariel Cayetano Scholarship Foundation is awarded to Gino Rivera and Xela Rianna , who will receive financial assistance for their four years of college education. We extend our best wishes to both recipients.
