Since there were still many who need to attend this activity, we will be holding our 2nd Orientation for those who needed to attend to their examinations then. Please await for further announcements here.

DWCC-JPO and DWCC AGTC busiest these past 2 days (May 25-26). We held our Career Orientation for Graduating students, and Job Fair on these two days. Also we held simultaneously in the afternoon our 1st SPES Orientation for Batch 2 (see next post).

The following pics attest to our resource persons and participants who made the events worth it.

On May 25, we had our Legal Education for Graduating Students (LEGS) as well as the AIR-TIP or Anti-Illegal Recruitment-Trafficking in Persons, and the First-Time Job-Seekers Law Orientation Seminars prefacing our Career Orientation talk preparatory to the Job Fair the next day.

Since there weren’t many companies who joined the Job Fair, we made sure our graduating students would be benefited as we implemented the First-Time Jobseekers Act. Our graduating students who would be in need of pre-employment documents (NBI certificate, PSA, etc) including an SSS, PhilHealth and other documents were afforded their FREE - yes as in no fees were charged (provision of the law for 1st-time jobseekers). An alumna came over to avail of this - she got her NBI certificate free of charge. Imagine being spared the long cues and the hot moments standing just to get your pre-employment documents.
