LONG WEEKEND ALERT!

Nakatakdang special, non-working holiday ang December 8, 2025 para sa paggunita ng Feast of the Immaculate Conception of Mary.

Dahil sa patuloy na pag-ulan dulot ng Bagyong Verbena at nakataas pa rin sa Orange Rainfall Alert ang buong lalawigan, suspendido na ang pasok ng PRE-ELEMENTARY hanggang COLLEGE (PRIVATE and PUBLIC) BUKAS, November 26, 2025.

Ayon sa 8pm weather bulletin, nananatiling nakataas ang Signal #1 sa buong lalawigan. Bagaman inaasahan na bukas ay maaari ng mawala ang weather signal dahil sa patuloy na paglayo ng bagyo, nananatiling nasa ORANGE Category ang rainfall warning sa buong lalawigan. Sa kasalukuyan ay baha na ang national highway sa bahagi ng Pinagsabangan 2, Naujan samantalang ang level ng tubig sa Bucayao, Panggalaan at Baco at mataas na sa normal. Naitala din ang malalakas na pag-ulan sa iba’t ibang bayan at sa kabundukan, na kung magpapatuloy ay maaaring magdala ng mga pagbaha at pag-apaw ng nga kailugan. Para maiwasan ang anumang posibleng aksidente at maisigurado ang kaligtasan ng mga mag-aaral at g**o, lahat ng klase ay suspendido. Ito ay ayon na rin sa rekomandasyon ng PDRRMO. Ganundin, ang mga kawani ng pamahalaan na magmumula sa mga lugar na may baha ay excuse din sa pasok bukas.

🎉⚓ MMMSI Sportsfest 2025 ⚓🎉

With the theme “Unleash The Champion Within: Embracing Excellence and Unity”, Mindoro Merchant Marine School, Inc. successfully held its Sportsfest 2025 last September 29–30 at the Camilmil Gymnasium and Lalud Covered Court.

Three departments—
🏐 Senior High School Department
🏀 Deck Department
⚽ Engine Department
—competed with passion, discipline, and sportsmanship across various individual and team sports.

👏 Congratulations to all winners in both individual and team categories! Your hard work and dedication truly embodied the spirit of unity and excellence.

In celebration of Mariners’ Month, MMMSI proudly held its Drill Competition last September 24, 2025 at the Brgy. Sto. Niño Covered Court.

Patuloy pong nakaantabay ang Pamahalaang Panlalawigan sa lagay ng panahon.

📣 Parents’ Meeting, Giving of Grades, and Recognition of Honor Students 📣

Last Friday, September 5, 2025, Mindoro Merchant Marine School, Inc. (MMMSI) successfully held a Parents’ Meeting in line with the distribution of grades for the first half of the First Semester.

Highlights of the program included the Recognition of our Honor Students, who continue to exemplify discipline, hard work, and excellence - qualities we uphold in our future seafarers. 👨‍✈️⚓👩‍✈️

During the meeting, important matters were discussed, such as:
✅ Upcoming school activities for the semester
✅ Students’ upcoming Basic Training for Seafarers, governed by STCW regulations, which will prepare them for the essential skills and knowledge required in the maritime profession.

MMMSI extends its gratitude to the parents and guardians for their active participation and continuous support in shaping the path of our cadets towards becoming competent and responsible seafarers. 🌊✨

🎉 PALARONG PINOY 2025 🎉

Bilang bahagi pa rin ng pagdiriwang ng Buwan ng Wika, isinagawa ng Mindoro Merchant Marine School, Inc. (MMMSI) ang masayang Palarong Pinoy na nagbigay-diin sa kahalagahan ng pakikipagkapwa, pagkakaisa, at samahan ng mga mag-aaral. 🇵🇭✨

Sa pamamagitan ng iba’t ibang tradisyunal na laro, hindi lamang nahasa ang pisikal na kakayahan kundi nasubok din ang talino, diskarte, at pagtutulungan ng bawat kalahok. 🏃🤝🧠

Higit pa sa laro, ang Palarong Pinoy ay naging daan upang lalong mapalalim ang bonding at camaraderie sa pagitan ng mga estudyante, na siyang pundasyon ng isang matatag na komunidad ng MMMSI. ⚓💙

Isang masigla at makabuluhang pagdiriwang na tunay na nagpapakita ng diwa ng pagkakaisa at kulturang Pilipino!

Bilang bahagi ng pagdiriwang ng Buwan ng Wika 2025, matagumpay na isinagawa ngayong araw ng Mindoro Merchant Marine School, Inc. (MMMSI) ang patimpalak na Ginoong Lakan at Binibining Lakambini 2025 sa Sto. Niño Covered Court, Calapan City. 🎉

Ipinamalas ng ating mga kalahok mula sa iba’t ibang departamento — Deck A, Deck B, Engine A, Engine B, at Senior High School — ang kanilang talino, ganda, tikas, at pagmamahal sa kulturang Pilipino.

Isang makulay at makabuluhang selebrasyon na tunay na nagbigay-diin sa tema ng pagkakaisa at pag-ibig sa sariling wika at kultura. 💙❤️💛

"Paglinang sa Filipino at Katutubong Wika: Makasaysayan sa Pagkakaisa ng Bansa", matagumpay nating isinagawa ngayong araw ang Tagisan ng Talino! 🎯📚

Layunin ng patimpalak na ito na hindi lamang subukin ang talas ng isipan ng ating mga mag-aaral, kundi lalo ring palalimin ang pagpapahalaga sa ating wikang Filipino at mga katutubong wika bilang tulay sa pagkakaunawaan at pagkakaisa ng sambayanan. 🤝💬

Isang masigla, masaya, at makabuluhang aktibidad na tunay na nagpatunay na ang wika ay hindi lamang bahagi ng ating pagkakakilanlan, kundi sandata rin sa pagtataguyod ng kaalaman at kultura. 🎉🇵🇭
