Buhuan Elementary School proudly joins the nation in celebrating National Reading Month 2025 through a series of engaging and meaningful literacy contests and activities with the theme "𝑅𝑒𝑎𝑑𝑖𝑛𝑔 𝑖𝑠 𝑎 𝐵𝑟𝑖𝑑𝑔𝑒 𝑡𝑜 𝑎 𝐹𝑢𝑡𝑢𝑟𝑒 𝐹𝑢𝑙𝑙 𝑜𝑓 𝐻𝑜𝑝𝑒".

This celebration is made stronger through our partnership with Calapan Police Station under “𝑃𝑟𝑜𝑗𝑒𝑐𝑡 𝐴𝑔𝑎𝑝𝑎𝑦”—Buhuan ES’ Brigada Eskwela and Adopt-a-School Program initiative, which aims to build collaborations with agencies and community sectors to increase literacy, enhance learner engagement, and strengthen parent and community involvement.

A heartwarming Mystery Reader session was led by PAT Marei Joy Cleofe, who inspired young readers with her presence and storytelling.

Selected primary pupils also received pairs of slippers, a simple yet meaningful gift to support their daily school journey.

Dahil sa banta ng matinding ulan at hanging dala ng Bagyong , suspendido ang trabaho sa mga tanggapan ng pamahalaan sa NCR, CAR, at Regions I, II, III, IV-A, IV-B, V, at VIII bukas, Nobyembre 10, 2025.

Suspendido rin ang klase sa lahat ng antas sa mga nabanggit na rehiyon, pati na rin sa Region VI, Region VII, at Negros Island Region sa Nobyembre 10 at 11, 2025.

Maaaring magdeklara ng suspensyon ang ibang LGU, at mananatiling bukas ang mga ahensyang responsable sa essential services.

Mag-ingat po tayo at sumubaybay sa mga opisyal na anunsyo ng DOST-PAGASA at ng inyong mga lokal na pamahalaan.

JUST IN: Malacañang, through Memorandum Circular No. 106, suspends work in government offices and classes on Monday (Nov. 10, 2025) in the National Capital Region, Cordillera, and Regions I, II, III, IV-A, IV-B, V, and VIII as Super Typhoon (Fung-wong) barrels through Luzon with destructive winds and torrential rain.

Meanwhile, classes at all levels in the aforementioned regions, as well as in Regions VI, VII, and the Negros Island Region, are suspended on Nov. 10 and 11.

“Agencies responsible for basic, vital, and health services, preparedness and response duties must continue to remain operational,” the circular read.

Malacañang said other government offices in affected areas may adopt alternate work arrangements to ensure the continuity of essential functions.

Local governments outside the listed regions are authorized to issue their own class and work suspensions as needed. | PNA

With the spirit of teamwork and service shining bright, Buhuan Elementary School proudly held its 𝐒𝐜𝐡𝐨𝐨𝐥-𝐁𝐚𝐬𝐞𝐝 𝐁𝐒𝐏-𝐆𝐒𝐏 𝐀𝐝𝐯𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐞𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐂𝐚𝐦𝐩, Nov. 7-8.

The two-day camp brought together our young Boy Scouts and Girl Scouts in a meaningful experience of learning, adventure, and leadership.

Thanks to our supportive SPTA Officers led by President Lovely Mhay Mayo, Barangay Officials headed by Hon. Elvira I. Dimayuga, together with Hon. Dhelia Mariquina, Brgy Education Committee, to Hon. Sandemar Castillo, Hon. Reynaldo Hermosa, SK Arianne Ilagan and her team, for ensuring that the venue was safe, clean, and ready for all the camp activities.

Special thanks as well to Barangay Police and BHW for ensuring the safety and security of all our young campers.

Kudos to all scouts, troop leaders, parents, and community who made this BSP-GSP Advancement Camp 2025 a memorable and successful event! Truly, scouting continues to inspire the youth to serve others and lead with heart. 💚💛

Buhuan Elementary School extends its heartfelt gratitude to 𝗟𝘂𝗻𝗮 𝗚𝗼𝗰𝗼 𝗠𝗲𝗱𝗶𝗰𝗮𝗹 𝗖𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿 for bringing healthcare closer to our learners and their families through a Medical Check-up, PhilHealth Konsulta Registration, and Primary Care Access Program held on November 7, 2025.

This meaningful activity promotes not only physical well-being but also strengthens our community’s awareness in the importance of preventive healthcare.
