𝗟𝗘𝗚𝗔𝗟 𝗘𝗗𝗨𝗖𝗔𝗧𝗜𝗢𝗡 𝗜𝗦 𝗕𝗔𝗖𝗞 𝗜𝗡 𝗠𝗜𝗡𝗗𝗢𝗥𝗢.

For many aspiring legal professionals, the pursuit of a law degree has often meant leaving home in search of opportunities elsewhere. Now, that path is closer than ever.

Divine Word College of Calapan, Inc. formally opens its School of Law and will begin offering the Juris Doctor (J.D.) Non-Thesis Program in Academic Year 2026–2027, following the issuance of Government Permit No. 1.

This milestone brings legal education within reach for aspiring legal professionals across Mindoro and neighboring provinces, providing a local pathway toward the study and practice of law while remaining rooted in the communities they call home.

This academic year was a big learning experience for all of us. More than just organizing events, it was about figuring out how to handle challenges together and what it truly means to serve.

Looking back, we didn’t do this alone. We are deeply grateful to the offices who helped and guided us through every hurdle. To our fellow student leaders, thank you for working hand-in-hand with us. But our biggest, most genuine thank you goes to our fellow Divinistas.

Behind every program were sleepless nights, setbacks, and a lot of worries behind the scenes. But every single time, you showed up, shared your energy, and brought our plans to life. Seeing you benefit from these spaces made every ounce of hard work and sacrifice completely worth it.

Our deepest gratitude also goes to our adviser, Mr. Russell V. Villarma, MBA. Thank you for your unwavering guidance, patience, and constant support throughout our entire term. We wouldn't have navigated this year successfully without your mentorship and belief in us.

This accomplishment report isn’t a trophy for the council; it’s a scrapbook of what we all built together. We started this term with a promise to lead with 𝐋𝐞𝐚𝐝𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐡𝐢𝐩, 𝐄𝐦𝐩𝐨𝐰𝐞𝐫𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭, 𝐀𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧, and 𝐃𝐞𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐦𝐢𝐧𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧, but you taught us that leadership is nothing without community. Thank you for your trust, your patience, and for sharing this unforgettable year with us.

The DWCC Student Council proudly represented Divine Word College of Calapan, Inc. at the GINHAWA Student Well-being Summit organized by the Commission on Higher Education (CHED) at Tagaytay City. Centered on the theme "Inspiring Wellness, Leadership, and Purpose in Higher Education," the summit aims to bring together student representatives and Student Affairs and Services practitioners from Higher Education Institutions (HEIs) to deepen their understanding of student health and well-being, strengthen help seeking and peer support behaviors, and promote shared responsibility in creating healthy learning environments.
