Strengthening Purpose Through the Word of God on Day 3 of the Annual Teachers' Retreat 2026

Gathering educators and staff on June 5, 2026, at the New Prayer Garden, Day 3 of the Annual Teachers' Convention provided a meaningful opportunity for reflection. Delivering the Word of God, Rev. Alexander O. Garcia, EMB, OIC Executive Director of JIL National Affairs, JILCW, encouraged participants to remain steadfast in their service to God.

Reminding educators of God's sovereignty, he shared, “Because God alone is sovereign and worthy of our chance, we must fight the battle for purpose and focus by remembering His works, guarding our attention, addressing our weakness with His grace, and living as faithful stewards for His glory.”

Moving forward with renewed conviction, JILian educators were encouraged to remain faithful stewards in the ministry of shaping lives!

Embracing Humility on Day 3 of the Annual Teachers' Convention

Reflecting on the qualities of a Christ-centered teacher, teachers and staff gathered on June 5, 2026, at the New Prayer Garden for another meaningful session during Day 3 of the Annual Teachers' Convention. Delivering a thought-provoking message, Ptr. John Edward B. Crisostomo, Supervising Pastor of JIL Paombong, highlighted how humility serves as a foundation for effective service.

Challenging hearts to remain teachable, he shared, “The cost of pride is often corrected, but the reward of humility is growth. A great teacher is not afraid to admit mistakes, learn from others, and remain humble under authority.”

Carrying this lesson beyond the convention, teachers and staff recognized that a heart willing to learn is a heart prepared to inspire others!
