The officers and executive committee heads of the ๐๐ข๐ง๐๐จ๐ซ๐จ ๐๐ฌ๐ฌ๐จ๐๐ข๐๐ญ๐ข๐จ๐ง ๐จ๐ ๐๐๐ญ๐ก๐จ๐ฅ๐ข๐ ๐๐ง๐ ๐๐ง๐๐ข๐ ๐๐ง๐จ๐ฎ๐ฌ ๐๐๐ก๐จ๐จ๐ฅ๐ฌ (๐๐๐๐๐) convened for their quarterly meeting on March 26, 2025, at Saint Augustine Seminary, Barangay Suqui, Calapan City. The meeting was chaired by Fr. Renato A. Tampol, SVD, Ph.D., President of Divine Word College of Calapan and MACIS President.
The discussion focused on the updates and progress of the strategic plan crafted in December 2024. Each member actively participated in assessing the developments and identifying key areas for further improvement. The meeting reinforced MACISโs commitment to advancing Catholic and Indigenous education in Mindoro, ensuring quality learning experiences for all students.

Fr. Renato A. Tampol, SVD, Ph.D., the DWCC president, and MACIS president, chaired the event.
During the strategic planning session, the officers crafted a three-year strategic plan to set the direction for all member schools. The plan was anchored on MACIS' core values: Mutual Collaboration, Servant Leadership, and Genuine Solidarity. These principles will be the foundation for fostering growth, unity, and excellence among the member institutions.
Following the productive planning session, the officers enjoyed a lighthearted mini-Christmas party, celebrating the season with camaraderie and shared joy.

The ๐๐ข๐ง๐๐จ๐ซ๐จ ๐๐ฌ๐ฌ๐จ๐๐ข๐๐ญ๐ข๐จ๐ง ๐จ๐ ๐๐๐ญ๐ก๐จ๐ฅ๐ข๐ ๐๐ง๐ ๐๐ง๐๐ข๐ ๐๐ง๐จ๐ฎ๐ฌ ๐๐๐ก๐จ๐จ๐ฅ๐ฌ (๐๐๐๐๐) formally announces its newly elected Officers and appointed Executive Committee Heads. This set of leaders has been selected to guide the association in its mission to promote Catholic education, preserve indigenous cultural heritage, and ensure inclusive and holistic development for all learners within the Province of Oriental Mindoro.
The elected Officers and Executive Committee Heads are entrusted with advancing the mission and vision of MACIS, driven by the values of Mutual Collaboration, working together to achieve shared goals; Servant Leadership, leading with humility and service to others; and Genuine Solidarity, and standing together in unity to address the challenges and opportunities in education. Together, they are dedicated to building a stronger educational network that upholds faith, culture, and academic excellence.

As the 2nd MACIS Stakeholders' Convention neared its conclusion, an awarding ceremony was held, led by Rev. Fr. Raymond H. Ruga, Ph.D., the incumbent and outgoing president together with the officers of the Mindoro Association of Catholic and Indigenous Schools (MACIS). During this momentous occasion, Certificates of Affiliation were presented to various member schools of the association.
The awarding of these certificates symbolized each institution's formal recognition as an integral part of MACIS and their commitment to the shared mission of advancing Catholic and Indigenous education in Oriental Mindoro. Aligned with the convention's theme, "๐๐ฒ๐ง๐จ๐๐๐ฅ๐ข๐ญ๐ฒ ๐ข๐ง ๐๐๐ง๐ฎ๐ข๐ง๐ ๐๐จ๐ฅ๐ข๐๐๐ซ๐ข๐ญ๐ฒ", the ceremony underscored the spirit of unity and collaboration that MACIS continues to foster among its member schools.
Fr. Ruga, in his capacity as outgoing president, expressed his gratitude to the schools for their active participation and enduring dedication to the association's goals. On the second day of the 2nd MACIS Stakeholders' Convention, participants gathered for Workshop 3: Pagpapanatili ng Organisasyon Para sa Matatag na MACIS. This session anchored to the theme "๐๐ฒ๐ง๐จ๐๐๐ฅ๐ข๐ญ๐ฒ ๐ข๐ง ๐๐๐ง๐ฎ๐ข๐ง๐ ๐๐จ๐ฅ๐ข๐๐๐ซ๐ข๐ญ๐ฒ", was designed to promote collective problem-solving and future planning for the continued strength and stability of the Mindoro Association of Catholic and Indigenous Schools (MACIS).
All members were divided into groups and tasked with discussing their specific concerns, challenges, and aspirations for MACIS. Guided by the spirit of synodality, the participants openly shared ideas on how the organization can further improve, address the unique needs of both Catholic and Indigenous schools, and sustain its mission of solidarity and collaboration.

Following the insightful panel discussion, the next part of the 2nd MACIS Stakeholders' Convention was Workshop 1: Pagbabahagi at Pakikinig sa mga Saloobin. This activity provided an interactive platform for the participants to engage deeply with the theme "๐๐ฒ๐ง๐จ๐๐๐ฅ๐ข๐ญ๐ฒ ๐ข๐ง ๐๐๐ง๐ฎ๐ข๐ง๐ ๐๐จ๐ฅ๐ข๐๐๐ซ๐ข๐ญ๐ฒ".
Roommates were grouped together and tasked to share their personal experiences, insights, and reflections related to the theme. In an atmosphere of mutual respect and openness, participants listened attentively to one another, fostering a deeper understanding of how synodality and solidarity manifest in their respective schools and communities. It was a meaningful exchange that strengthened bonds and reinforced the commitment to working together for the betterment of both Catholic and Indigenous schools in Oriental Mindoro.

In recognition of their valuable contributions to the eventโs theme, "๐๐ฒ๐ง๐จ๐๐๐ฅ๐ข๐ญ๐ฒ ๐ข๐ง ๐๐๐ง๐ฎ๐ข๐ง๐ ๐๐จ๐ฅ๐ข๐๐๐ซ๐ข๐ญ๐ฒ", the panelists were presented with certificates and tokens of appreciation. Rev. Fr. Raymond H. Ruga, Ph.D., the incumbent and outgoing president of the Mindoro Association of Catholic and Indigenous Schools (MACIS), along with Rev. Fr. Renato A. Tampol, SVD, Ph.D., MACIS Vice President and incoming president, graciously led the awarding ceremony for the distinguished panelists of the 2nd MACIS Stakeholders' Convention.

The ๐๐ข๐ง๐๐จ๐ซ๐จ ๐๐ฌ๐ฌ๐จ๐๐ข๐๐ญ๐ข๐จ๐ง ๐จ๐ ๐๐๐ญ๐ก๐จ๐ฅ๐ข๐ ๐๐ง๐ ๐๐ง๐๐ข๐ ๐๐ง๐จ๐ฎ๐ฌ ๐๐๐ก๐จ๐จ๐ฅ๐ฌ (๐๐๐๐๐) successfully conducted the 2nd MACIS Stakeholders' Convention at RJM Beach Resort. The event brought together representatives from various Catholic and Indigenous educational institutions across Oriental Mindoro, creating a meaningful gathering aimed at strengthening partnerships and dialogue within the educational community.
The first part of the convention featured a panel discussion centered around the theme "๐๐ฒ๐ง๐จ๐๐๐ฅ๐ข๐ญ๐ฒ ๐ข๐ง ๐๐๐ง๐ฎ๐ข๐ง๐ ๐๐จ๐ฅ๐ข๐๐๐ซ๐ข๐ญ๐ฒ". The panelists were esteemed leaders in their respective fields: Rev. Fr. Gabayno Oybad, Chairperson of the Small Mission Schools - Mangyan Mission Schools; Mrs. Lorelie Arguelles, School Principal of Northern Mindoro Academy and Chairperson of Small Mission Schools - Catholic Schools; Mr. Julius Ivan Ebora, Teacher-in-charge of Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary; Sr. Grelyn Cruzat, FMA, Mother Superior of Mary Help of Christians School; and Mr. Jan Arno Sodayi, RPm, RGC, Director of Admission, Guidance, and Testing Center of Divine Word College of Calapan.
Each panelist graciously shared their thoughts and experiences, reflecting on how synodality and solidarity are lived out in their communities. Their insights emphasized the importance of collaborative leadership, active participation, and fostering unity among diverse groups within the province. This rich exchange of perspectives provided the attendees with a deeper understanding of how to work together in genuine solidarity to address the unique challenges faced by both Catholic and Indigenous schools in Oriental Mindoro.

Sa isang maikling sandali ay muling nagkatipon ang mga miyembro ng MACIS Executive Committee kung saan ay personal ding nakilala ng grupo ang bagong Episcopal Vicar for Catholic Educational Institutions sa katauhan ni Rev. Fr. Edwin M. Semilla na kasalukuyan ng Honorary Member ng association.
Naging sentro ng pagpupulong ang paghahanda para sa nalalapit na pagdiriwang ng ikalawang anibersaryo ng pagkakatatag ng MACIS kung saan ay gaganapin ang 2nd MACIS Convention.
