Salong Elementary School successfully carried out its School-Based Management (SBM) Assessment on March 18, 2026, marking another milestone in its commitment to quality and learner-centered education.
The activity was spearheaded by the school leadership, ensuring a systematic evaluation of the schoolโs SBM implementation. The assessment aimed to measure the schoolโs effectiveness in governance, curriculum delivery, and stakeholder engagementโkey components in fostering continuous school improvement.
The School-Based Management (SBM) Assessment was formally presented by the School Head, Madam Elisa D. Pinohermoso, with the support of Madam Gemma E. Abrea, Master Teacher I. The presentation highlighted the schoolโs accomplishments, best practices, and areas for further development. The SBM framework consists of six dimensions, each with specific indicators and required Means of Verification (MOVs) that determine the schoolโs rating. The rating scale ranges from 1 to 4: 1 โ Not Yet Manifested, 2 โ Rarely Manifested, 3 โ Frequently Manifested, and 4 โ Always Manifested.
The process was guided by Sir Marcial M. Acha Jr., PSDS, whose presence provided valuable insights and ensured alignment with DepEd standards.
