The Nursing Department successfully conducted another session under ๐—ฆ๐—ก ๐—–๐—ข๐—ก๐—ก๐—˜๐—–๐—ง, this time focusing on Licensure Preparation for nursing students. The session was designed to provide students with additional academic support and preparation as they work toward the Nursing Licensure Examination.

The session featured Lee Rondeck Angelov Castillo Alcones, BSN, PhRN as the guest speaker. Drawing from his knowledge and professional experience as a registered nurse, he shared valuable insights and discussed essential concepts to help students strengthen their preparation for the licensure examination.

As part of the ๐—ฆ๐—ก ๐—–๐—ข๐—ก๐—ก๐—˜๐—–๐—ง initiative of the Nursing Department, a review session was conducted for first-year nursing students, focusing on Biochemistry, particularly the topics of Amino Acids and Proteins.

The session featured Rodelyn Mantic and Shyryll Francisco, both from BSN 2C, who served as the speakers for the review session. Through a speaker-led discussion, they revisited key concepts and important points about proteins and lipids, helping first-year students reinforce their understanding of the lessons.

The discussion provided students with an opportunity to recall essential concepts, clarify areas that needed further understanding, and strengthen their knowledge of the subject. The speakers presented the topics in a focused and organized manner, emphasizing information that would be useful as students prepared for their upcoming examination.
