“𝒀𝒐𝒖 𝒌𝒏𝒐𝒘 𝒕𝒐𝒈𝒆𝒕𝒉𝒆𝒓 𝒘𝒆’𝒓𝒆 𝒈𝒍𝒐𝒘𝒊𝒏𝒈”—the gym had filled with excitement as the Grade 4 Huntrix-inspired performers lit up the stage. Their sharp steps, strong energy, and standout style thrilled the crowd and earned them 1st place.

Calapan City — In a stunning display of talent and confidence, the pupils from the Elementary Department are set to compete in the much-awaited Dance Fusion contest.

In the Kinder 2 to Grade 3 Category, the young cuties from Kinder 2 to Grade 1 took the spotlight and bagged 1st place and best costume award.

Fusing a wide array of genres, from “Katutubong Sayaw” to “Squid Game”, they captivated the audience’s hearts.

Coming in second place were pupils from Grade 2 with their PPop fusion, while the representatives from Grade 3 took third place.

The next part of the event was the Grade 4 to Grade 6 category, where once again, the youngest participants from Grade 4 clinched first place and the best costume award.

Their KPop Demon Hunters themed performance set the audience in cheers and in song, setting the standard high and taking the contest out of the ballpark.

The Grade 5 pupils came in second with their groovy fusion dance, while Grade 6 settled in the third spot with their “I Love You Since 1892” themed fusion.

Overall, each entry highlighted each student's dedication and passion for artistry, reaching the audience’s heart and crafting an electrifying environment.

Students enjoyed new gimmicks from this year's booths.

From food, drinks, movie, and gaming booths, Holy Infant Academy students and parents relished the first day of Academy of Day.

Rev. Fr. Mark Jay Bambao, the new Parochial Vicar, headed the blessing of booths.

Excitement and delight fill the air as the day began with students clamoring within their booths, getting ready to serve the mass of students. Decorations collide, embodying the pure amusement to come for the next two days.

As Rev. Fr. Mark Jay V. Bambao strides through the booths, he carries the spirit of God to guide and bless each one. As the students come, swarming the place, the area is lit with a sense of life and spirit.

When a student can’t share their words to a certain someone, the Dedication Booth is where they go. Their sentiments were entrusted to the CSC Officers as they broadcast them alongside the selected song.

Within the busy walls of the Integrity and Faith Building can be found the Food Booths of the Grade 12 Students and Best Kids Participants—and just on the opposite side of the building enclosure, the Grade 11 Students whip up refreshing beverages for all to enjoy.

While snacking on the snacks and drinks prepared by the Senior High students, the movie booth handled by the Grade 10 students is open and ready for a time of entertainment and wonder. Soon after a movie, students can find more snacks at the APNAPEA Food Booth located near the school canteen to satisfy their peckish moods.

If the fun is yet to be enough for the day, there are various games hosted by the students from Grades 7-9, where joy meets timeless charm. These booths can be found all around the gymnasium, prepared to provide entertainment for all.

Located within the Loving Service Building, a place of memories and lighthearted excitement awaits. The booth of the CSC and CMF—Kidzone is open to the students of Kindergarten to Grade 3.

Finally, as the day comes to a close, the Souvenir Booth of the General PTA and the Photobooth of the CSC are a go-to area for many. Here, the students can secure items and treasures that will last a lifetime, securing the Academy Day 2025 experience.

Fun Had Just Begun with the Opening of Academy Day 2025 at Holy Infant Academy

The most awaited event of the year—Academy Day 2025—has finally come, a 3-day celebration of the 88th anniversary of Loving Service, Integrity, Faith, and Excellence at the Holy Infant Academy, which just started on December 3, 2025.

As early as 7:30 a.m., students gathered inside the cathedral to begin this wonderful event with a community Mass led by Fr. Mark Jay Bambao. On behalf of PaskoHian, students brought packs of grains to give to our Katutubong Mangyan.

After that heartfelt Mass, everyone went back to the gym to have their 5–10 minutes of booth preparation before the blessing of the booth. Later on, Fr. Mark Bambao, together with the respective leaders, classroom representatives from the Junior and Senior High School Department, and altar servers, led the walk through all the booths carrying candles.

Moving on to the opening program led by Mr. and Mrs. Leyesa, the atmosphere became fun and engaging. We started by singing the National Anthem of the Philippines together with the Glee Club members and the Campus Marshals Forces (CMF).

Next, the Doxology performance by the Glee Club, with their incredible wigs, created harmonic symphonies. Then a gospel reading was led by the Junior High School Worship Coordinator, Samantha Nicole S. Bagano.

Even with just an LED wall video, Fr. Andy Peter M. Lubi still managed to deliver his welcoming message to everyone. This was followed by a theatrical show about Bishop William Finnemann performed by the Theater and Visual Arts Guild (TVAG), which showcased his amazing and inspiring life.

We have witnessed the opening ceremony of Academy Day 2025—a three-day celebration. Now, let’s celebrate this day with school spirit and warmth from our dearest friends.

Last October 7–8, students from Puerto Galera Academy, Northern Mindoro Academy, Baco Catholic School, and Holy Infant Academy — all part of the Deanery of St. Matthew — joined a two-day Journalism Training at Baco Catholic School. They practiced photojournalism, writing, layout, and cartooning, capturing stories through both images and words.

On September 30, 2025, Holy Infant Academy of Calapan held its 12th School Scouting Movement Investiture Ceremony. The event marked the official investiture of new members into the Boy Scouts and Girl Scouts of the Philippines, celebrating their commitment to leadership, service, and Scouting ideals.
