The Institute of Hospitality and Tourism Management successfully conducted its Institutional Orientation for our 3rd and 4th year students, marking another important step in our IHTM journey.

This orientation served as a space for reconnection, reflection, and preparation. For our 3rd years, it’s about stepping into leadership and real-world readiness. For our 4th years, it’s about finishing strong and embracing the final stretch before entering the industry.

Through inspiring talks and engaging activities led by our HM and TM officers, the event brought energy, learning, and a stronger sense of unity among upperclassmen.

𝗢𝗙𝗙𝗜𝗖𝗘𝗥𝗦’ 𝗧𝗨𝗥𝗡𝗢𝗩𝗘𝗥 𝗖𝗘𝗥𝗘𝗠𝗢𝗡𝗬 ✨

A remarkable milestone unfolded as we witnessed the official turnover of leadership—honoring the legacy of the past officers while warmly welcoming the new set of leaders who will continue the journey with passion, integrity, and purpose.

The program commenced with 𝗦𝗽𝗲𝗰𝗶𝗮𝗹 𝗠𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗮𝗴𝗲 𝗳𝗿𝗼𝗺 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗗𝗲𝗮𝗻 𝗼𝗳 𝗜𝗛𝗧𝗠, 𝗗𝗿. 𝗠𝗮𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗲𝗹 𝗕. 𝗦𝘂𝗽𝗻𝗲𝘁, setting a meaningful tone of reflection and inspiration. This was followed by the presentation of the 𝗔𝗰𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗽𝗹𝗶𝘀𝗵𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗥𝗲𝗽𝗼𝗿𝘁 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗖𝗼𝗻𝘀𝘁𝗶𝘁𝘂𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗕𝘆-𝗟𝗮𝘄𝘀 by the former president, 𝗠𝘀. 𝗘𝗹𝗹𝗮𝗶𝗻𝗲 𝗕𝗮𝗿𝗮𝘁𝘀𝗮, highlighting the organization’s achievements, guiding principles, and strengthened foundation throughout her term. In addition, the 𝗙𝗶𝗻𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗶𝗮𝗹 𝗥𝗲𝗽𝗼𝗿𝘁 was presented by 𝗠𝘀. 𝗔𝗹𝘄𝗲𝗻 𝗖𝗲𝗹𝗮𝗱𝗮, emphasizing transparency and accountability in leadership.

A heartfelt moment of appreciation was given to the former officers through the 𝗔𝘄𝗮𝗿𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗼𝗳 𝗖𝗲𝗿𝘁𝗶𝗳𝗶𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗲𝘀 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝘁𝗼𝗸𝗲𝗻𝘀, recognizing their unwavering dedication, hard work, and service. Their shared experiences and lessons became a source of inspiration—reminding everyone that true leadership is built on commitment, resilience, and the willingness to serve beyond oneself.

The ceremony also marked a new beginning as the newly elected president, 𝗠𝘀. 𝗡𝗼𝗲𝗺𝗶 𝗖𝗮𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗹𝗹𝗼, delivered her 𝗔𝗰𝗰𝗲𝗽𝘁𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝗦𝗽𝗲𝗲𝗰𝗵, expressing her vision, gratitude, and commitment to lead with excellence and purpose.

To formally conclude the program, the 𝗖𝗹𝗼𝘀𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗥𝗲𝗺𝗮𝗿𝗸𝘀 were delivered by the 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗴𝗿𝗮𝗺 𝗖𝗵𝗮𝗶𝗿 𝗼𝗳 𝗕𝗦𝗧𝗠, 𝗦𝗶𝗿 𝗔𝗹𝘃𝗶𝗻 𝗕𝗮𝗹𝗱𝗼𝗻, leaving words of encouragement and guidance for both the outgoing and incoming officers.

As leadership transitions from one set of officers to another, may the new leaders embrace their roles with courage and determination. May they continue to uphold the values of unity, accountability, and service, and strive to make a lasting impact.
