The second day of the Youth Congress 2025 was marked by an informative and impactful lecture during Session 5, led by Mr. Kym Raymund G. Guzman, the BKD Adviser of Sta. Filomena School of Arts and Trades (SFSAT). His discussion focused on drug awareness, and prevention emphasizing the importance of education as a strong defense against substance abuse.
Through a clear and engaging presentation, Mr. Guzman highlighted the dangers of illegal drugs, their effects on the youth, and the role of students in making responsible and informed choices. The session reinforced the idea that knowledge empowers young people to protect not only themselves but also their families and communities. The active participation of the delegates showed how relevant and timely the topic was for todayβs generation.
This meaningful activity would not have been possible without the support and collaboration of various stakeholders. We extend our sincere gratitude to the Schools Division Office of Apayao (SDO-Apayao) for their guidance and continued support, as well as to the school administration of Sta. Filomena School of Arts and Trades, the organizers, speakers, teachers, and all individuals who worked behind the scenes to make the Youth Congress a success.
Indeed, the second day of the Youth Congress strengthened the call of βGaling Kabataan, Boses Mo, Bukas Natinββreminding the youth that their choices today shape a better and drug-free tomorrow.
