PINEAPPLE FARM

Tanglagan Elementary School continues to strengthen its school gardening program by expanding its pineapple farm through the active participation of parents, learners, and school personnel.

Last year, the school successfully planted 120 pineapple heads as part of its initiative to promote sustainable agriculture and provide learners with hands-on learning experiences.
This year, the project gained even greater community support, with 247 additional pineapple heads planted by parents and learners during the school's planting activity.

The increase in the number of pineapple plants reflects the school's commitment to environmental sustainability, food security, and practical agricultural education. It also highlights the strong partnership between the school and the community in supporting programs that benefit learners.

Through this initiative, Tanglagan Elementary School hopes to develop a productive school farm that will serve as a learning laboratory while instilling in learners the values of hard work, responsibility, and environmental stewardship.

"Growing together today for a greener and more productive tomorrow."

BIG HEARTS FOR OUR TREES

Trees are more than part of the landscape—they are life-givers.
They breathe out the air we breathe in, offer shade under the burning sun, shelter countless creatures, and hold the soil that feeds us. When we embrace a tree, we are embracing the very source of our survival.

Our lives are deeply connected to theirs. As we grow, they grow with us—standing strong through seasons, teaching us patience, resilience, and generosity. Protecting trees means protecting our future.

This 75+-year-old mango tree in our school symbolizes our love and care for trees.
