Several families, including our very own students from the City College of Calamba (CCC), have been affected by the fire in Brgy. 4 (Del Pilar St.) and Brgy. Real last April 2, as well as other recent fire incidents in Brgy. 5, Mapagong, Looc, and Canlubang.

In the true spirit of Calambayanihan, the City College of Calamba is knocking on your kind hearts to help those affected.

We are humbly requesting the following donations:

๐Ÿงผ Hygiene Kits: Soap, toothbrushes, toothpaste, sanitary napkins, and diapers

City College of Calamba shines on the global virtual stage! Huge congratulations to our outstanding student researchers for bagging major awards during their online presentation at the International Interdisciplinary Research Conference 2026, hosted from Bangkok, Thailand last March 27!

Representing the Department of Computing and Informatics, the brilliant minds behind the "Anti-Smoke Belching Detection System with Non-Contact Apprehension Using YOLOv8" (Nica Jerusalem, Darwin G. Enriquez, Christian Mark M. Buena, Mark Adrian M. Manaig, and Dr. Jacqueline A. Dela Torre) proudly took home the Innovation Award, Best Oral Presentation, and Best Paper for Student.

Sharing the international spotlight from the Department of Business and Accountancy is the team behind the "Evaluation of Acumatica Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) System in Business Automation of Pioneer Adhesives Inc." Lead author Ana Margarita U. Natividad won Top 1 Student Presenter, while the whole team (including Prof. Maryann H. Lanuza, Jhon Mark G. Cuyno, Areanna L. Gonzaga, Eunice G. Legasto, and Adviser Prof. Raniel C. Anido) secured the Best Oral Presentation and Best Paper for Student awards.

On March 13, 2026, at the Sta. Rosa Sports Complex, students gathered for a meaningful and engaging summit that highlighted collaboration, learning, and leadership.

The program formally commenced through the opening remarks delivered by Dr. Maricris G. Unico, Director of the Center for Extension Services and President of CODEB4A. Her message emphasized the vital role of student involvement, community engagement, and the continuous pursuit of excellence.

The event reflected a strong commitment to empowering students and strengthening partnerships toward academic and community development.

Sa diwa ng Calambayanihan, ang City College of Calamba (CCC) ay nananawagan sa ating komunidad para sa Donation Drive upang makatulong sa mga pamilyang naapektuhan ng sunog. Ang lahat ng malilikom na donasyon ay personal na ihahatid sa mga apektadong pamilya.

Internal Audit Successfully Conducted at City College of Calamba

The City College of Calamba (CCC) successfully conducted its Internal Audit Meeting on March 10, 2026, as part of its ongoing commitment to the ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management System and in preparation for the upcoming external audit by certification auditors.

The activity was facilitated by internal auditors from the City Government of Calambaโ€”Ms. Charmaine Grace A. Baricanosa, Ms. Alyza Marie D. Ladeza-Manuela, and Ms. Bolivar Macaubaโ€”who guided CCC offices in reviewing processes, ensuring compliance, and strengthening documentation in readiness for the external assessment.

The internal audit focused on the delivery of public administration services in accordance with the Citizenโ€™s Charter and established process manuals, utilizing methods such as interviews, document verification, observation of activities, and audit sampling.

This initiative marks an important step in ensuring organizational readiness and reaffirms CCCโ€™s commitment to quality service, continuous improvement, and adherence to international standards in public administration.

Academic leaders, research facilitators, and personnel of the City College of Calamba convened last Monday (March 9, 2026) at the Accreditation Room for a comprehensive review of our Research Policies and Standard Protocols.

From standardizing defense policies to aligning the roles of our research advisers and panelists, this initiative ensures that our institutional processes remain transparent and supportive of our students' academic journey. Thank you to everyone who attended and contributed to this shared goal!
